THE Group for Authors! discussion

I manually added my book this weekend and while it shows up on my profile, when I search for it via name or title of the book, it doesn't show up. I'm wondering if there's a particular reason for this? Does the book need to be released before it will show up by search? Must the book have an ISBN number attached to it? My book isn't set to release until August, so I'm curious why I can't search for it but I do find it listed on my author profile.

There's a bit of a glitch going on at the moment, apparently - the search isn't picking up all books. This has happened before, and it rights itself! :)

Same thing happened to me. I contacted them and they said there was a "glitch." Within 12 hours it was fixed. Could have been faster because I contacted them.

Mine just got fixed too! Thanks for the responses. Glad to see it wasn't something I did wrong. LOL.

Mine has also been righted. Goodreads answered my email today to say it's a known issue that they are working on, as Kelly said.
