Melissa McClintock (melissableuz) OKay, I have finally printed out the original list. But there are some numbers that are blank! Also, I have noticed in the past it seems like people can go and alter the lists?

does anyone have the direct link or a copy of the list to email me so i can check it against the one I printed?

Charity (charityross) On the home page for this group, there is a description box at the top. If you click on the website link provided, it will take you to the Lists of Bests 2006 (original) list and you can check it against your own list....or you can sign up on Lists of Best and mark off what you read from the list on there. It's pretty handy. Hope that helps! :-)

Melissa McClintock (melissableuz) okay, that is the one I have printed out. But ANYONE can go in and change the list. I am suspicious b/c I don't remember Dorothy Sayers on the list TWICE?
That is something I should have easily remembered since I have read a few of her books!

Is there anywhere else we can get a list, that could NOT have changed?

Charity (charityross) Sure...here is the spreadsheet that a lot of people on here use:

http://johnandsheena.co.uk/books/?pag...

Just scroll down and download whichever version of the list you want to use (one is the original list and the other is the updated list).

Charity (charityross) Oh...and in fact, Dorothy Sayers is on the list twice for Murder Must Advertise and The Nine Tailors.

message 6: by Melissa (new)

Melissa McClintock (melissableuz) yes i know about Dorothy Sayers on the list twice. I wrote that in my original post. :)

THANK YOU!

Charity (charityross) Wait. Sorry, I'm confused. I thought you were suspicious that Dorothy Sayer was on that particular list twice and didn't remember that being the case. I was just letting you know that she is, indeed, supposed to be on the list twice for the titles I mentioned. I apologize for the confusion.

Lyn (Readinghearts) (lsmeadows) This is the thread that has the link to the spreadsheet which I particularly like. It calculates totals and other fun stuff. When you use the link (In Charity's post above), click on the first discussion item on the list and it will take you to the place where the spreadsheet is.
