Yz would have to say for sure, but I tend to just copy my text and repost every time I've finished a book, or at least once between each of her updates, as I think it's easier for her to track that way.

It used to be okay to just go back to the original post and edit it, but as more and more people participate its harder for me to go back and look for original posting, so I have requested that everybody just post a new one after every update. Then all i have to do is start counting from my last group update post. Makes sense? Hope that helps.

My 2007 book still hasn't arrived. :o(

Some Girls Bite was a first novel, and the first book in the series. Despite those 2 drawbacks it was an excellent read. lol, don't let the fact it took me 4 days to read put you off the book. I was unable to get more than a few minutes reading in for most of those 4 days, since we were away. I'm leaning on Oz to get pictures up on the web and get a link posted so you all can SEE the lovely costumes we got to get "up close and personal with". :o)

Ok everyone... it's officially the 6th for me and I haven't even STARTED! CostumeCon was awesome though!! I'm hoping to get well underway with Butcher tomorrow. I haven't a clue how I have a chance of finishing - but I'm gonna try!!!! I need to do something like add up all the pages and figure out what I need to read. LOL

This was a book that was very comic book like in its telling. No paranormal elements, strictly speaking. But we DID have--a mad scientist, super heroines, evil villians, an invisible man, a giant doll with a gun for its head, and various and sundry others. :o) And Nobody DID get the girl in the end.

Eh speculative is speculative :) HEHE And I'd say a guy who basically got his life erased so he was like ghostly should count as paranormal :) HEHE Did you like it? The author is a crack up!

BTW everyone, I added up the Dresden books on my list... nine dresden books equals 3533 pages. I have 22 days to read that (I left in my trip next week to baltimore but took out memorial day weekend) many pages. My math tells me roughly 161 pages a day and I can finish this goal. Sheesh. I'm on page 52 of my first one. I've been trying to read for an hour and a half but 1. I'm still sleepy and 2. the older kid is harassing me nonstop.

These are the Single Pattern ones (everyone had to use the same assigned pattern, and how you made/intreprided it was what it was judged on http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid...) The person in purple swirling around is Oz. Oh--there was one "female" type costume and one "male" type. Altho people didn't necessarily stick to that when making them.

UM, I just realized you're doing a series read as well. I've got four of Kelley Armstrong's Otherworld series in my challenge, and may swap out more so I can keep reading, although I'm quite keen to read my already selected choices for 2007 and 2008 so we'll have to see.

Yeah, I've had those GhostWalker books forever, and just started reading a couple days ago. I'm going to place them on my 50+ books in a year and my 2009 TBR reading challenge as well, because I've had those here for so long waiting to be read. I LOVE GhostWalker! OMG... sooo much better than Carpathians which I also love!

Matter of fact, with Carpathians, I didn't even start reading those until DarkCurse had been released, so I was going "boom, boom boom" right through that series. I can't wait for DarkSlayer. I want to see Razvan redeemed...I'm so hoping they go in that direction!
