I'm surprised I was able to, LOL! I was really nervous too, the last 2 PIFM I haven't done so well with my picks.

Yeah, I can't wait to see how that goes. It kinda worries me though. I read Beautiful Disaster and loved it. So I was really looking forward to Walking Disaster and ... not so much.

Reading the guy's POV is a nice change...

I hope you didn't lose too much food, Nichole. That happened to us during Hurricane Sandy and the storm the next week- not fun! I lost so much food :(

Anyways I have a story for you guys. You know how in the book he believes he has the flu when they are separated for that week. Well anyways years ago I was visiting my father for a month and left my boyfriend alone at the house (he still had work.) Well I get back and he tells me that he loves me and to never leave him for that long again. When I asked what made him realize that he loved me he told me that while I was gone he had a horrible stomach flu or what he believed to be a stomach flu. When he was sick he talked to his mom and godfather about it. They both asked what exactly he was feeling and he said that he just felt like there was this gaping whole in his life. They told him that he wasent sick that he was in love. At first he thought they were crazy. But he told me when he picked me up from that airport he realized that the whole was gone and that he really did love me.
So that is why I am leaning towards the 4 it made me a bit nostalgic...

Okay, I'm at 65%. Should I use (view spoiler) tags? I highlighted a couple of things. But first, I need coffee!

You didn't say anything that would spoil it. I don't think so anyway. I mean, as soon as you read the first chapter you find out they aren't together and the synopsis pretty much states it.

This didn't bother me as much as it would normally. I actually thought it was kind of humorous that he thought he had the flu. My husband does this crap LOL. When he is frustrated at work, he always gets sick. I know days ahead of time that he will be calling in sick or leaving early at some point. In fact, he did this trick last Friday.
Him: "I'm coming home early, I'm sick."
Me: * rolls my eyes "Oh, what's wrong?"
Him: *pathetic voice "I just don't feel good"
Me: *trying to be sweet "Well, what are your symptoms? Maybe we should get you some medicine. Or make a doctors appointment."
Him: *pathetic voice "I don't know, I'm just achy. I think I just need to rest."
Me: *patient voice "Well okay, I'll see you when I get home." *Hangs up the phone* "Big Freaking Baby".
And because I mentioned medicine and the doctor he stopped and picked up O.J. LOL. But did not drink any and he was playing on the computer....
Okay, sorry about my side trip, back to the book

Normally, he would have drove me crazy with it. But I was somewhat prepared for it, so not as much.

Well, I just got to the point where he screws everything up. I so wanted to smack him upside the head for being an idiot. And to be honest, I've been waiting for the comic relief that I've heard so much about. Don't get me wrong, there were plenty of things that made me smile and I even chuckled a couple of times, but I was expecting more. I'm glad to hear I just haven't reached that part yet. I really liked the guy's POV.
Funny parts for me so far

So yeah, funny but not hilarious.

LOL, I know right! When we first got married he had a double ear infection. Before he went to the doctor, he was telling me that he thought he had brain cancer and was going to die. Seriously.

I really like it so far. I love humor in my stories and so far this story has left me very amused. Maybe not laugh out loud funny, but definitely amused. I like the change of reading it from the guy's perspective.

I mostly agree with you. I just wish "the hook-up" part was earlier in the story. I'm okay with a slower build up, but I was anxious for it to happen.

Ashley! I LOVE that story! So sweet...

I agree I wish more author wrote from the males perspective. Mind you I did want to smack him a few time though.

I think I wanted to smack Kate's boyfriend more. The things we found out he said to her during their relationship (view spoiler) ...that guy needs a good smack!

This is totally me...
"I've never been good at waiting. No matter how hard my parents tried, I could never wait until Christmas morning to find out what I got. I was like a mini Indiana Jones, searching and digging until I found every single gift."
My husband still hides gifts from me :)
Needless to say, spoiler tags don't deter me either!
I agree 100% about her boyfriend. He was a real douchebag. And Ashley, (view spoiler)
Anyways, I will finish it up this evening and give my final verdict. As it is now, I'm sitting at 4 stars.
