Connie Personhood: The Art of Being Fully Human by Leo F. Buscaglia

(Years ago, this was the first book I read when I decided to "find myself". :-) )

Connie "How to argue with a Cat" sounds like a good one to look into.

Save the Cat: The Last Book on Screenwriting You'll Ever Need by Blake Snyder

(Disclaimer: It's not the last book on screenwriting...the trends and associated rules of screenwriting are always changing, but I still believe that audiences react best if the cat, or dog, are saved.)

Mickey (liongoddess) | 470 comments Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett

One of my favorite books ever, and I'm looking forward to the screen adaptation because David Tennant is in it!

Connie Whistling In the Dark by Lesley Kagen

(Milwaukee, the summer of 1959... This book was written about a time when the resourcefulness of kids was expected and understood. Great story.)

...btw - Mickey, again I couldn't agree with you more...I love Good Omens and David Tennant.

This is the first book I remember my mom reading to me.

Connie Fanny Hill, or Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure by John Cleland

(John Cleland published this in 1748. There is no way on this planet he could have published this tale of a young woman's exploration of "pleasure" today. Some self-righteous group would find a way to protest it.)

Connie How to Be Single by Liz Tuccillo

(This novel promised an interesting premise, I'm not so sure it delivered.)

BTW: Kylie, I read that book in 4th grade and loved it. It convinced me to always try outsmarting bullies.

Connie Cyberwar: Security, Strategy, and Conflict in the Information Age by Alan D. Campen

(A book that caused me to bang my head on the table to stay awake while trying to read it.)

I actually got a kick out of the Susan McCorkindale books.

Connie PostSecret: Extraordinary Confessions from Ordinary Lives by Frank Warren

(The author handed out postcards to strangers and invited them to write down a secret - deepest fears, desires, regrets, obsessions - they had never told anyone and mail it to him, anonymously. This book is a compilation of those secrets. It's addictive.)

Connie Wish You Were Here by Rita Mae Brown

(This is the first book in the Mrs. Murphy detective series. They are great easy reads.)
