I haven't skipped any shelves yet. I will have to double check how many extra books I have read from the monthly shelf, I don't think it has been many.

Just want to clarify if it has been decided that you can only skip shelves if you have read MORE than one book for the month's selection??? I am not sure if I am going to gain any more shelves. I have two more books that I will probably finish by the end of April, but I just looked and neither book is going to touch any of the shelves I still need. :(

I, too, do not think I'm going to hit any more of the shelves I still need...I'm averaging one shelf per book at this point, which is kinda frustrating. So I think I'll save the ones I know will hit a bunch of shelves for the next round! :)

Angela - I think that we decided that the first book you read from the monthly shelf doesn't count for skipping shelves so it is only if you read multiple books from the monthly shelf that you can skip.I finished a book last night and I am hoping for another one by the end of the challenge. (it's a pretty short book)
Well today is the last day for adding shelves before we begin round two. Do we agree that we are going to award the winners in the manner I suggested earlier on a different thread? Also, Slayermel, could you do the reporting again? You did such a wonderful job last time around :)
My final update is:244 shelves (includes 1 bonus)

Did we decide 4,5,6th send books to 1st,2nd,3rd? Or did we decide on something else?
I do not think we discussed any other options, so I guess that will be the way we go, unless someone else has a better/ different idea.

I think I do, Angela, I have to double check. I know I have some bonus shelves to add, may have 1 or 2 others from a recent book I finished.

I just read the other posts ~ I see that Lauren and I were neck and neck ... I feel that since I used more bonus points than she did, she should take 3rd.I really enjoyed this challenge!

I'll choose someone, but only if it isn't a problem for any of the three on the list. Karen was the one who offered small prizes, so I wouldn't want those three to feel forced into doing it if they don't want to.
I am one of the three people and I am fine with sending someone a book as a prize as we orginally talked about doing.
