Goodreads Authors/Readers discussion

Hi! I began a Goodreads' Book Club called The Cookbook Collectors' Book Club and am not getting people to post or join. I need help! I'd like to run some contests with Cookbooks as prizes, but I have no idea how to contact any of you cookbook writers to request these. Can someone please tell me what to do! Also I'd like to have discussions with cookbook authors for my group, but have no idea if there is a way to do so on Goodreads. Can anyone help me here?
