OK I had to cheat as I have a wedding in France for the next couple days so I'll have limited reading time! Sorry :)

30% in (view spoiler)[ Nerezza (I think that's her name) seems really shady the way she's pushing Orsay to be this Prophetess person. Oh and things are getting sooooo creepy, but in a really good way! Astrid is ANNOYING! She adds no value and just stops Sam for stopping the bad guys. Not liking her at all. But I AM LOVING this series! I'm completely hooked and I actually love all the new characters that are constantly introduced and the new powers, so much creativity and Grant has a great sense of humor. (hide spoiler)]

Sounds like it'll be really good. I fell asleep at 7 tonight. Whoops! Now it's midnight and I'm awake! Maybe I'll start it. But I really need to finish the one I'm reading first. Ugh. Decisions! :-)

Okay, I started it and it didn't take me long before I was 50% of the way in! (view spoiler)[I agree completely with you about Astrid, David! Sometimes being book smart doesn't get you very far! I see some of her points about laws, but then HURRY UP and make some laws, DUH! She just sits there shooting down anyone's ideas. She is turning out to be very manipulative.
I don't trust Nerezza either, she is weird. Also, what's the deal with Brittany??? And Tanner? I think he might be part of the darkness.
I'm also wondering what's going to happen when Caine gets out to the island. And what about Drake??? I had a feeling he isn't really dead... (hide spoiler)]
Loving it so far, this series is so addicting and so different!

Ok, shutting my computer down for the day and shutting office door for the weekend. It is Friday and I am DONE working!! TGIF! Heading to my bedroom to grab my Nook and then settling in on my big comfy living room chair to start reading. Yaayyy!!!

YAY, Karen! I have a busy day tomorrow, we are helping our 4H club clean up a park, as long as the weather is okay! So I'm doing a lot of reading today! Already 68% of the way in! (view spoiler)[ WOW, things are getting very bad! And does anyone actually believe the things Orsay is seeing? That seems too easy to me...but it would be nice! I knew Drake was back! And poor Sam, I think he is officially losing it! Although I don't blame him for how he feels about Astrid right now! (hide spoiler)]

I love this series! I have only to read Light to finish. I have been putting it off because I really don't want the series to end. Are you guys reading the entire series? If so I will wait on ya'll to read it.

And I was blown away at the sneak peek from the outside. Was that just a dream from The Prophetess or real? Seemed real. Wonder what it means about Mary? Is she meant to take all the littles with her somehow? (hide spoiler)]

I hear ya! I also had to finish one up before I could start. I power read last night so I could read this one tonight without stressing about getting mine turned in on time.

Yeah I think that was a lie but it was still pretty cool and left me wanting more of it!

83% (view spoiler)[ I agree with you Jenny, the darkness is heavily involved in everything that's happening. I think the gaiaphage is controlling Orsay's dreams and Nerezza is working for it. I'm not sure about Brittney and Tanner though, I think it's possible they're good? But the demon might turn out to be Nerezza and not Drake (although he's still evil) (hide spoiler)]

71% in (view spoiler)[This book is crazy exciting. The Orsay thing is making me crazy. I have to know! And is Brittney and Drake the same person/thing? Every single one of them is falling apart. Except for Albert who only seems to be about his money anymore. Why not give the kids a free meal for one night?

Wonder what the island kids are up to with Caine? If they fly out, where would they go? It's worse everywhere else.

I figured something was up with Brittney/Drake but didn't catch that it could be Nerezza (whose name means darkness). There are so many things going on right now. Wonder what power Virtue has. I agree that Albert needs to cool it with the money thing for a few days, the kids are scared, and feeding them will go a long way! As for the kids on the island, maybe they want to help bring food to the beach? I think at this point I would chance it if I were them, anything but stay where Caine is! (hide spoiler)]

Yay, sounds like you had fun, David! I had a pretty busy day as well, but I managed to read a little! I should probably finish today. I've heard Plague is a much more intense read. I honestly don't think I can to it for a couple of weeks, though.

I finished it! (view spoiler)[ That was really inventive with Little Pete's video game. I'm glad Astrid finally admitted she was wrong and actually wrote the laws! FINALLY! Poor Mary...but we still don't know if fading out when their 15 gets them out of the dome or not...but it would make sense if they do. I'm glad they were able to save the little kids at the end, that would have been awful! I wonder what will happen with Drake/Brittany? (hide spoiler)]

Final thoughts on Lies (view spoiler)[ Yeah, Karen, that wall coming down was so unexpected and intense and for a second I thought it might be permanent and my mind was whirling with what that might mean for the series and then it closed again and I was breathless. Lol. Yeah, I liked that bit ;)

With Drake/Brittney- seems like a bad move to keep "it" alive but I'm hoping Sam's judgment was good and that she'll come into play in a positive way later. Poor Orsay, not a great time in the fayz. (hide spoiler)]
