Just finished reviewing 4 books of all different genres.2 of them I would specifically love to mention.
Whistlin' Dixie - A Tempered Steel Novel is a beautiful love story, first in the series of books. If you like to read love stories pertaining to one family, then this one is for you. Check my review of Whistlin' Dixie and let me know how you find it.
Another one is a tremendous book, one I would love to spread word across the globe if possible. The Dream Shelf is also a love story. But the love story here is of a child to their parent. An amazing book with a beautiful story. Check out my review of The Dream Shelf and prepare to be amazed by Jeff Russell

Writing with Style (ie. http://ericjamesolson.com/2015/02/18/... ) will be taking submissions of flash fiction and novel excerpts to be featured on a new type of blog post, Writing as Art. If you are a writer interested in having your short fiction or excerpts from your longer fiction read and critiqued in a public forum, please send a brief email to [email protected] . No need to pitch an idea or anything like that. Just a simple email will do. Make sure to include the following:•Your name
•Your story or excerpt (750 words or less…less is better) pasted in the body of the email (Sorry, but I’m not opening attachments. I’m dreadfully afraid of viruses)
•Title the subject line with the word “Submission” followed by the title of your story. Like this: “Submission: Godzilla vs. Batman”
I will be responding to all submissions and I will let you know if your story has been selected. All genres are welcome, but the focus will be on the literary merit of each piece. If I decide to feature your story, I will also include a short write up with bio information and a brief critique, a great opportunity for anyone looking to increase their visibility.

I started this blog a few weeks ago as an escape. Let me explain. I am 27 years old and have my B.S. from NYU-Polytechnic in Business & Technology Management and my M.S. from Full Sail University in Entertainment Business. All seemed great and the future was bright. Then 4 or 5 years ago, I was diagnosed with a condition called Cluster Headaches, or as they are sometimes called, Suicide Headaches. This condition is considered the most painful condition known to medical science. On top of this, I also suffer from daily Chronic Migraines. I have tried countless treatments and so far no luck. This condition has halted any career plans and has left me in daily chronic pain.
Like most people I use reading, writing and music as an escape from the pain. I began this blog and found that I truly enjoyed reading and reviewing and getting some lesser known books and authors out there. I hope that all who view this blog will share it with friends, family and any writers you may know. Also, please look into Cluster Headaches and help me spread awareness of this condition.
