A family goes missing, and Emily Thornhill- lead reporter does her best to track down what happened. A serial killer on the loose, and to top it all off- this was based on a true story!

Steinbeck is one of my all time favorite authors. You must read his East of Eden, which was also an Oprah pick.

This is definitely one of my all time favorites. And I also read it many years ago. I keep hoping to find another like it by colleen McCullough, but I don't find that her other books measure up.

Marblehead, Massachusetts; Two brothers impacted by a terrible car accident. This book warmed my heart up, and was pretty close to the movie.

Sara | 102 comments I finally got my hands on Stones from the River by Ursula Hegi in audio format and listening to it now. I know if was an Oprah book club selection long time ago, but I couldn't find the audio version and the one the library had was all scratchy CDs.

Dark, Twisted, Grimy-- Camille Preaker has to go home to report about a series of murders happening in small town Missouri. Gillian Flynn does it again taking us to places we don't really want to go, but can't stop reading...

Sarah (sb1164) | 3 comments Just finished Wicked, based on the Wicked Witch of the West, and was pleasantly surprised but not overly impressed, and I just started reading Chasing Alaska, by John Green, author of The Fault in our Stars. So far I'm enjoying it! I also just finished Gillian Flynn's three books, which were fantastic! Highly recommend those!
