Hi, Angela ~
One of the BEST books I have recently read is The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. It takes place during WWII and presents a side of of the war I never knew existed. I guarantee you will not be able to put it down. Let me know how you like it.

Don't know if you have ever listened to his books before. The first time I did, I nearly fell down my steps when actual gun shots and bomb explosions were going off in my headphones while cleaning the house.

message 2146: by Pam (new)

Pam Sarah - I have a reading rule that if the book doesn't grab me in the first 10%, then I abandon the book. So if a book is 358 pages, those first 35 pages need to be stellar. There are too many good books out there. Leave this one and go onto the next!
