Heather Wells is a former teen singing sensation. Her life has been slowly falling apart since her mother took her money, ran off with er manager, and her fiance cheated on her. This novel takes an interesting turn as Heather is son thrown into the middle of a murder investigation where she has to figure out who has killed to of the girl in the dorm, sorry I mean Residence Hall, where she works. This book was entertaining as it took someone like Heather who was inexperienced to investigations and made them the one who figures it all out. It certainly kept me on my toes as I did not manage to figure out the murderer until near the very end of the novel!
