A (aarrghhh) | 17 comments Would you like me to put up a poll? That way we can cast a vote with the click of a button, and voila! it's tallied!

Ah! Ok! I voted. Wow, did you guys read "Group Rules"? ^_^ Pretty sure tongue poking is outlawed, if not highly discouraged. (under breath: Grown-ups!)

message 63: by Fiona (Titch) (new)

Fiona (Titch) Hunt (titch) They started it Alethea. I was being grown up.

message 64: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) thats okay, our moderator :Ps with the best of them.

message 65: by Kandice (last edited Apr 30, 2009 11:57AM) (new)

Kandice Fiona allows tongue poking as long as no one is offended. that ^Fiona doesn't care so it's okay! LMAO

message 66: by Fiona (Titch) (new)

Fiona (Titch) Hunt (titch) Well GO GRAVEYARD - NEIL GAIMAN

Woo woo woo woo

message 67: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) Umm.... I think it should be made a rule that whoever does not already own the winning book must purchase it.

*looks for ways to avoid feeling guilty about breaking my own book ban*

message 68: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) Fiona wrote: "Psh, your book ban's biting the dust Becky. You are already guilty."

Yes yes, but I don't have to FEEL that way. If you'd just make it a rule... *looks hopeful*

message 69: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Fiona wrote: "No."

mean!

message 70: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) *pretends she made it a rule anyway* :P

message 71: by Kandice (new)

Kandice No means no!

You can have it be a personal rule. I can make sure you're sticking to it if you like?

message 72: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I know:( I'm still reading Maus, but now I'll be forced (haha) to buy another book!

JG (Introverted Reader) Now I'm nervous. What if it really wins and everyone hates it? But it is a really great book. But so are the others I've read from this list.

message 74: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) Don't worry JG... I haven't read a lot of Gaiman's books, but the ones I have read I've loved. I doubt you'll get much hissing and booing if your nom wins. :)

message 75: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I haven't read any, but I loved the Stardust movie and have been wanting to read something of his ever since. It's not like you WROTE it J.G. just suggested it:)

message 76: by Kate (new)

Kate (kathrynlouwca) I voted for Anne of Green Gables as well. I have never read it but I love the movie.

message 77: by Beth (new)

Beth Knight (zazaknittycat) | 390 comments JG you're so sweet! Don't be nervous.

message 78: by Kristen (new)

Kristen Harvey | 1046 comments I would've voted for Graveyard Book.. but I already read it!

message 79: by Laura (new)

Laura (apenandzen) Graveyard
Graveyard!

Gaiman is terrific, I think anything he did would be great.

message 80: by Lisa Julianna (new)

Lisa Julianna (lisajulianna) if he wins I have an excuse to go buy the book...LOL I've been wanting to read it for sometime.

message 81: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) Lisa wrote: "if he wins I have an excuse to go buy the book...LOL I've been wanting to read it for sometime."

Yes! It's even a rule!*

*Well, not an "Official" rule, but we can't be feeling guilty about the amount of book purchases we're choosing being forced to make, can we?

message 82: by Lisa Julianna (new)

Lisa Julianna (lisajulianna) LOL right.....I'll go with that...hopefully my husband will agree...lol

message 83: by Laura (new)

Laura (apenandzen) We could always take the top 3 and have a vote-off.

message 84: by Fiona (Titch) (new)

Fiona (Titch) Hunt (titch) Wonder if we have to read both

*thinks if she can get an audio for either or both lol*

message 85: by Laura (new)

Laura (apenandzen) 3 or 4 that is....

message 86: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) Graveyard is ahead...

message 87: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Since Maus was clearly not going to win, I changed my vote.

message 88: by Kate (new)

Kate (kathrynlouwca) Come on, Anne!!! You can do it!!!

message 89: by Laura (new)

Laura (apenandzen) You think we should read both?

message 90: by Laura (new)

Laura (apenandzen) It would help for the Challenge.

message 91: by Beth (new)

Beth Knight (zazaknittycat) | 390 comments It's a good idea!

message 92: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) whatever the mod votes for should automatically be the winner in the case of a tie.

And gosh Fiona, didn't you vote for Anne?

er...so I suppose Laura voted for Graveyard?

well....Anne comes first alphebetically! Duh, it wins :D

message 93: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) yeah, its easy for me to say since I've already read Anne 100 times...but I think we should read both :D

message 94: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) cause I really want to read Graveyard :P

message 95: by Laura (new)

Laura (apenandzen) I voted for Graveyard because I read Anne on January 1 of this year. So, too soon for a re-read. Plus, I love Gaiman.

message 96: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) Allison wrote: "cause I really want to read Graveyard :P"

Then vote for Graveyard... Silly girl!

message 97: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Laura wrote: "I voted for Graveyard because I read Anne on January 1 of this year. So, too soon for a re-read. Plus, I love Gaiman."

yeah, I really want to read it too...I just like being difficult ;)

message 98: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) Whatever it is, I think you should end the poll already so I can plan my challenge list!! LOL

message 99: by Susan (new)

Susan (mrsfun) | 89 comments Hmmmm, maybe I should change my vote and break the tie....
