Excellent book. A must read for anyone who enjoyed Wool. I recommend reading it shortly after reading Wool so that it's still fresh in your mind.

I read it as well directly after and was a bit undewhelmed. I could have done without the details on Solos background for example and leves a lot of interesting questions unanswered.

I'm not sure I will continue into the Silo Wars, as I have the feeling it is moving into more standard fare.

I really loved Shift too. I was fascinated by the background and how the silos came into being, but I tend to like that stuff better than big fights and wars.

I just finished this one recently too. Similar to Wool, I found it uneven but ultimately satisfying. Looking forward to seeing where things finish up in Dust.
