safia ☼ (deadpegasus) | 680 comments Name: Grayson Evers (goes by Gray)
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Appearance:

Personality: Gray is cautious and realistic. He isn't one to be carried away by hopeful fantasies; he's grounded, and if he really wants to accomplish his ambitions, he works for it (usually taking the hard way) instead of daydreaming of the possibilities, and often won't ask for help along the way. Gray's guarded, approaching life with a cautious, calculated manner. He doesn't open up to many people. This makes him extremely intelligent, though -- his actions are well thought upon. Outwardly, he always seems poised and in control, often looking serious. He's often restless, unable to keep his mind on one thing for long periods of time. Gray's cautious and mistrustful; his sensitive side isn't often shown to anyone, only a select special few. Inside, beneath his wary exterior, he's passionate, emotional, and creative. He does anything with passion and is exceedingly loyal to those he believes he can trust, and often he can be either very happy or very sad, his emotions going to extreme highs and lows. Bipolar disorder, some might call it.
Other: Plays guitar

safia ☼ (deadpegasus) | 680 comments Just look up Frank Iero if you want more pics... sorry that took so long! I added personality just cuz I already had it written up. So, do you want me to start or shall I? :)

message 23: by Haley (new)

Haley (haleytheawesome) | 64 comments Omg. That's really like, detailed xD

message 24: by Haley (new)

Haley (haleytheawesome) | 64 comments Can you please start

message 25: by safia ☼ (new)

safia ☼ (deadpegasus) | 680 comments ((Thanks! I'd write more but you said simple so I didn't xD. Starting now...))

Gray groaned as the sunlight hit his face. He really didn't want to start another wonderful year of high school again, where teasing and bullying was abundant, especially when you were an outcast like Gray. He didn't mind being an outcast. He wasn't fond of the preps and their lifestyle, and he much preferred playing guitar and being the rocker that he was to doing... whatever the preps did nowadays. He slipped out of bed and sighed. At least this would be his senior year and final year.

Gray lazily put on some clothes, a dark jeans and a faded band shirt along with his converse, as he took the keys from his closet. Slinging his backpack over his shoulder, he exited the house without so much as a goodbye to his parents, making his way towards his car. His first class was math. Great. A wonderful way to start the day. He slammed the accelerator of his car while turning up the volume of the radio. At least guitar class was next. The only class he was looking forward to.

((ahh okay it doesn't have to be this long. :) It's just my intro so I usually make those long, but it'll be smaller as we go along, I promise.))

message 26: by Haley (new)

Haley (haleytheawesome) | 64 comments ((ehh one sec))

message 27: by Haley (new)

Haley (haleytheawesome) | 64 comments ((hahah, wow xD))

Ella woke up to a soft wetness on her nose, her eyes fluttering open, she saw her tiny little kitten licking her nose, crawling on her stomach. She picked him up, and set him on the ground. As he ran off, she got up, stretching. She groaned, looking at the time. First day of school, awesome.. She got up, looking through her closet till she found a cute dress to wear,

She then applied, mascara and a nice natural shade of lipstick. She didn't need coverup, her face was toned, and perfectly clear, as was her entire body. She smiled at herself, her long hair sat curly, down her back and past her breasts. She slipped on cute shoes, and headed to school, with no one to say goodbye to but her cat, she walked out the door. She drove to school, listening to "Such Small Hands", by La Dispute.

((hahah alright i dont mind :D))

message 28: by safia ☼ (new)

safia ☼ (deadpegasus) | 680 comments Gray reached the school a few minutes late. He didn't really care about his punctuality. He'd taken the long way for a reason, so as to piss off his teachers when he strode in late… at least that's what he told himself. In reality, it was mostly because he didn't want to be caught in the hallways and get beaten up for having dyed hair or being "emo" or whatever the popular kids thought was wrong with him. Although the pissing off teachers part sounded like a blast, too.

Gray got out of his car and locked it, walking casually into the school building with his hands in his pockets. The few staff members who'd seen him enter already looked disapproving at his late arrival. He smirked a bit and walked into his math classroom, where class had already started. The teacher gave him an incredulous glance. Gray waved in a half-salute fashion. "Gray Evers, pleased to meet ya." He didn't see anyone's reactions and focused on getting to a seat.

((oh btw, are you fine with cussing?))

message 29: by Haley (new)

Haley (haleytheawesome) | 64 comments Ella was already in her seat, in the back of the class, usually you'd see her around all her popular friends, but none of them were in this class. Or any of her classes, for that matter. Plus, being popular was the last thing she cared about this year. She had to concentrate if she planned on getting into Harvard. She opened her notebook, realizing she forgot her pencil. She grimaced, she didn't talk to many people in this class, so she figured she would have to do without. Her thoughts wandered elsewhere as she looked out the window, waiting for class to start.

((yes i'm fine with like, everything lol))

Haley (haleytheawesome) | 64 comments ((Forgot to mention - she's in his class. Sorry it's 4 here and my mind is a bit foggy :c
- also why the post is a bit shorter than usual))

message 31: by safia ☼ (new)

safia ☼ (deadpegasus) | 680 comments ((It's 4 already there? Couldn't sleep?))

The only empty seat was around the back of the room, next to a girl wearing a black dress with a seemingly perfect complexion and hairstyle. He inwardly groaned. Perks about being late: avoiding preps, annoying teachers. Problems about being late: the worst seats are saved for you. The girl was obviously a prep and he did not want to sit with her, but he had no other choice. He reluctantly walked to the seat and slid in, determined not to start a conversation with her.

message 32: by Haley (new)

Haley (haleytheawesome) | 64 comments ((i don't fall asleep until 6 or 7 and then i wake up at 9. it's been this way for years so, idk.))

Ella watched as the boy walked towards the empty seat to the left of her. She saw the look on his face when he saw her, and her jaw clenched. She hated when people thought of her as just another popular snotty girl. She looked at the boy in front of her and tapped him on the shoulder. "You don't happen to have a pencil, do you?" She asked quietly, with a tiny smile. He shooked his head, "Sorry." He muttered. She sighed, looking around once more.

message 33: by safia ☼ (new)

safia ☼ (deadpegasus) | 680 comments ((whoa, only 2 hours of sleep? I would be so tired... xD))

Gray smirked when he realized the girl didn't have a pencil. He wasn't about to offer one to her and would rather watch her embarrass herself. Pulling out a pencil from his backpack, making sure that the girl was acutely aware of his actions and that he actually had a pencil. Dumbass. Who forgot a pencil on the first day of school? Gray looked up at the board to see the first problem being written up. He scribbled in his notebook to make it seem as if he was solving it, but in reality he was writing out song lyrics to something he was composing for his band. Well if you wanted honesty, that's all you had to say...

message 34: by Haley (new)

Haley (haleytheawesome) | 64 comments ((im used to it :) ))

Ella felt herself getting angrier by the second with the boy to her left. She turned and looked at him, then asked sweetly, "Excuse me, do you have a pencil I can borrow?" She tried her hardest not to show her anger, but it flared in her voice, her jaw still clenched. The boy in front of her turned and watched.

(Such an amazing band, My Chemical Romance. It's a shame they broke up. I loved their music, and still do)

message 35: by safia ☼ (new)

safia ☼ (deadpegasus) | 680 comments ((I love My Chem! <3 Hence why Frank is Gray's appearance and why I'm most likely going to use their songs a lot. Ahh I know, their music is beautiful and I'm just really disappointed I haven't seen them live!))

Gray looked up at the boy who was watching them and grimaced at him. "Mind your own business." He gave a sideways glance at the girl next to him. "A pencil? Me? Huh, I don't think I do..." Gray was aware that he had boxes of pencils stuffed into his backpack, but he wasn't going to give one to her, at least without some begging involved. He grinned at that aspect. Someone like her begging to someone like him? Impossible.

message 36: by Haley (new)

Haley (haleytheawesome) | 64 comments ((yeah i saw that i just thought you mightve done that just out of fangirlish stuff xD and i saw them live twice, theyre good live too, provide lots of entertainment))

Ella fidgeted, her eyes quickly moving to the boy in front of her, to the teacher back to him, her hands picking at each other. "Please, I really need to take these notes." She said, her voice a bit louder, so that way he got the satisfaction he wanted, with people knowing she was begging.

message 37: by safia ☼ (new)

safia ☼ (deadpegasus) | 680 comments ((i mostly did hehe... YOU SAW MCR LIVE??!?! I am so jealous xD The closest I've gotten was youtube & recorded live performances on TV.))

Gray raised his eyebrows. "Hmm, I don't know..." Eventually he decided just to be nice and reached into his backpack, pulling out a pencil. It was sharpened and fine, and he was considering giving her a worse one, but he shrugged it off. Just be nice to the girl. He tossed it to her. "There. You owe me." He hesitated, then added, "And I don't believe I've caught your name."

message 38: by Haley (new)

Haley (haleytheawesome) | 64 comments ((yeah i did hahah))

She smiled, "Thank you, kind sir." She caught the pencil, and looked back up when he added that. She gave him a smirk, "No, I don't think you have." She looked back at the board, quickly copying the problems she missed.

message 39: by safia ☼ (new)

safia ☼ (deadpegasus) | 680 comments Gray rolled his eyes when the girl didn't give him her name. She had just about as much sass as someone else he knew of. Well, if she was going to play that game... well, let's just say Gray wouldn't be lending her any more pencils anytime soon. He glanced at the board again, where a few problems had already been written. The teacher was giving them an expectant stare as if he really thought they'd solve them. He snorted. But seeing that the teacher would most likely start calling on people randomly, he started solving a few problems amidst the song lyrics and various drawings. Math was not his forte, however, and he couldn't guarantee any of the problems getting right. But hey, he was trying.

message 40: by Haley (new)

Haley (haleytheawesome) | 64 comments Ella, being called on for the first, and most difficult problem, walked up to the board. She quickly solved it, the teacher giving her a surprised look. "Well, well, Mrs. De'four, quite a change from what I've heard about you." Ella didn't say anything, or react. She just nodded, and sat back down. She looked over at the boy, "It's Ella." She whispered. "My name is Ella."

message 41: by safia ☼ (new)

safia ☼ (deadpegasus) | 680 comments "Ella De'four." Gray let her name roll of his tongue for a second, a small smile on his face. Then his name got called and the smile slipped off of his face almost as quickly as it had come. He walked up to the whiteboard, prepared to be embarrassed in front of the whole class. Thank goodness there weren't as many popular kids in this class. Less ammo. He looked up at the board, it was something about simplifying and changing into different forms or whatever. Gray had absolutely no idea how to do it. He gave the teacher a cool stare. "I've not the slightest idea how to start." A few sniggers echoed in the back of the room. Gray chose to ignore them.

message 42: by Haley (new)

Haley (haleytheawesome) | 64 comments Ella watched him at the board, the teacher had purposelly given him a difficult problem. She stayed quiet, as some of the other kids snickered beside her. She glared at them, it wouldn't be so funny if they were in that position.

message 43: by safia ☼ (new)

safia ☼ (deadpegasus) | 680 comments Gray eventually finished the problem. It took him about fifteen minutes, but hey, at least he finished it. The teacher informed him that he'd gotten it completely wrong. Ah well. Gray wasn't expecting anything else. To his relief, the teacher didn't make him redo it, complaining about how long he'd taken to complete it, and Gray was allowed to sit back in his seat. A few teasing murmurs surrounded him, resulting him in telling them all to fuck off. He let his pencil linger over the notebook again, not paying attention to the rest of the lecture and instead drawing out a few chords. Gray was in his own world and had completely forgotten about Ella.

message 44: by Haley (new)

Haley (haleytheawesome) | 64 comments Ella sat quietly, her mind drawing away on it's own, wandering. She stared out the window, and sighed quietly, wishing this year would just be over with already.

message 45: by safia ☼ (new)

safia ☼ (deadpegasus) | 680 comments Gray looked up at the board when the problem he was doing was finished. The teacher was right. He had gotten it completely well. He shrugged it off with an easy grin. The career he was aiming for didn't exactly involve any math, so he could care less about passing the class. He reached for his pencil and accidentally bumped the girl's elbow... Bella? Or, Ella. That was right. Ella De'four. "Sorry," he muttered under his breath, even though he wasn't.

message 46: by Haley (new)

Haley (haleytheawesome) | 64 comments Ella looked up, almost gasping as she was interrupted from her daydreaming. She looked at him, hearing the word sorry, barely audible, slip from his mouth. "I'm not stupid," She said. "I know that you aren't." the boy in front turned around again, a little grin on his face. This time it was Ella who scolded him. "Do you not have enough drama in your own life?" She growled, glaring at him. The boy turned.

message 47: by safia ☼ (new)

safia ☼ (deadpegasus) | 680 comments Gray grinned slightly. "You're right, I'm not sorry. Kudos to you for figuring it out!" He looked at the boy who'd turned around and sent a middle finger his way. Thank god the bell rang at that moment, because he did not want to spend another minute in math. He shrugged on his backpack and walked to the door without a moment's hesitation, heading towards his guitar class. It wasn't like he didn't know how to play guitar -- he did. Gray just wanted a class that he actually liked, and unfortunately the only guitar class was for beginners. At least it would be an easy A.

message 48: by Haley (new)

Haley (haleytheawesome) | 64 comments Ella sighed in relief as the bell rang, it was about time. She looked for her schedule, not sure what class was next. She panicked not finding it and slowly left the class, deciding to head to the office and leave them to figure it out.

message 49: by safia ☼ (new)

safia ☼ (deadpegasus) | 680 comments Gray headed towards the music wing, slipping into the guitar room easily. Seniority had its perks; he could choose from one of the best guitars there, unlike the freshmen, who were stuck with the worst ones. He picked up a whitish guitar, one of his favorites from his junior year, and strummed a bit before sitting near the back and plugging it in an amp. He played a few songs to distract himself while waiting for the teacher to announce the class had started.

message 50: by Haley (new)

Haley (haleytheawesome) | 64 comments Ella looked at her schedule. Since when had she signed up for a music class? She glared slightly. One year of music wasnt going to get her into Harvard. She headed to the room quietly though, distraught and unamused. Walking in, she stopped. Freshman and geeks. Wonderful.
