Lately I have been enjoying reading listening to classical music off Spotify. I don’t really like classical music in general but it makes a chill vibe

I have the TV on low.

I usually read on the bus and do my best to drown out the loud sound it makes. At home I'll just read in silence or have some light jazz on.

No sound. I like it quiet when i read.

I usually need background noise. I choose white noise most often as it helps with the bit of tinnitus I’ve got. Keeps the constant ringing from distracting me too much

I don't like distractions when I write or read - easier to let my imagination wander if I'm not focusing on something other than what I'm doing

I like the sound of rain when doing almost anything, be it reading, writing, playing games, or watching TV, and especially when sleeping. Thunderstorms are even better.

^Brown noise I find is good 4 reading, kind of sounds like a hard rain if you're interested (slightly different than white noise).

sometimes ill put on horror music instrumentals - gives the book an eerie feel and sets the mood
