I know I'll post it everywhere... But it's just soooo good! It's thriller/horror... but in a very intelligent and interesting way. King is a genius and if you never read anything from him, you should adleast give this one a try :)

Only book or rather short novella of King's I read till date was The Shawshank Redemption based on which 92' blockbuster The Shawshank Redemption was made I must say both of them blew my mind, equally. I loved his writing style and I heard great many things about his books. I know a friend who bought all of his collection. Shall read his works one day.
PS: I'm excited about the fact that most of his works were adapted to screen. B-)

I totally agree, it's one of my favorite books :)

Something Witchy This Way Comes by Veronica Blade
Bound by C.K. Bryant
White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout

The Giver - Lois Lowry (It's quick read and its writing simplistic. The whole story was interesting to read)
The Purple Hibiscus - Chimamanda Ngozie Adichie (A really amazing novel set in Nigeria about a religious fundamentalist father and his relationship with his family set in the background of a military coup. Its a great contrast of the internal and external problems. It's wonderfully written.)
Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte ( A bit cliched recommendation but it is a really interesting story of love and revenge. And, some of the dialogues are amazing.)

Also, I recommend Angelfall by Susan Ee. I can never seem to get it out of my head and I can't wait for the third one to come out!
