Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments I'm effy about Jack Torrance because it's only a house of spirits that drives him mad.

Leatherface see as fitting as any movie killer

Chuckie seems fitting cause he's a doll possessed by a serial killer and is quite horrific.

message 52: by Carlos (new)

Carlos (cdlt1983) If I would pick 1 I would go with Chuckie, and I just love that the killers name is named after 3 real serial killers.

message 53: by Justin (last edited May 31, 2014 12:36PM) (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments Agreed Carlos. So Pinhead, Hannibal Lecter and Chucky will be the newest inductees into the Chamber.

message 58: by Justin (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments I need two more inductees for an even 50. I will gladly take considerations for nominees. Take a look at whose already in and if you can think of two people that you feel should be in the COH please feel free to let me know. I would like the two nominees before Halloween so the Chamber can be showcased for Halloween.

Let's get thinking, the Chamber is now Open!

So each day I will be posting a link to my page where you can check out some excellent horror photos. I will also share the page to which I get these great pictures.

Enjoy!

message 63: by Justin (last edited Sep 04, 2015 01:32PM) (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments The Chamber of Horrors is very much still open. Though it's been a few months since the last inductee and a while since the last group of inductees I am proud to announce we have 8 new candidates to be enshrined. Here are the candidates and I may not be inclined to induct all of them if anyone feels any of them don't deserve to be based on the fact they aren't truly horror enough.

The candidates:

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Headless Horseman
*Wes Craven(to be inducted)
Mason Verger
The Creeper
Captain Spaulding
Pumpkinhead
Clive Barker

message 64: by Justin (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments Not to do it just because he died recently but since Wes Craven was on the list of possible candidates to be enshrined into the Chamber of Horrors, I believe he's now a front runner.

As for the rest I leave that up to you, 3 more from the list need to be nominated and voted for.

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments It's hard to believe it's been almost a year since I commented on here. I do have some good news, not only is the Chamber still in tact but I have expanded it by creating a board for it on Pinterest. I felt since I've thought about adding more people that it maybe better suited with another place and it gives more people a chance to check it out.

You can check out the original at:
http://jbienvenue.webs.com/apps/photo...

You can check out the new Chamber of Horrors on Pinterest @ https://www.pinterest.com/justinbienv...

To honor this occasion I will be inducting three new people into the Chamber of Horrors:

-Rondo Hatton
-Wes Craven
-Pumpkinhead

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments Looking to get the Chamber some new members so I'm currently taking suggestions.

https://www.pinterest.com/justinbienv...

Look over the current members to avoid naming anyone whose already within. Suggestions?

message 67: by Justin (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments I am re-opening the chamber and willing to listen to consideration for new members both fictional and real.

Please see the list on Pinterest of the current members so you don't nominate someone whose already in.

Well Justin, I have 3 you could add and I did check your pinterest link so they were not there. :) (loved that collection - going to be following you on there). :)

Charles Manson
Ronald Defoe (Amityville)
Ted Bundy

Three great nominees. I do have a saying and rule that not every killer belongs in the Chamber but all of them deserve to get the Chamber. In this case all three are worthy and will be inducted.

message 70: by Justin (last edited Aug 24, 2017 12:02PM) (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments Charles Manson
Ted Bundy

I'm effy on Ronald Defoe

Ed Gein will also be inducted

Marie | 4030 comments Justin wrote: "Charles Manson

I like that idea about Ed Geen. Great choice.

Why are you effy on Defoe? If you don't want him I did have someone else in mind - maybe Son of Sam?

message 72: by Justin (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments I guess I'm not big on houses driving people to commit murder. Kind of the same reason I don't want to induct Jack Torrance and Son of Sam was supposedly influenced by his neighbors dog so I guess I should choose which is more fitting lol.

message 73: by Marie (new)

Marie | 4030 comments I do have another one. How about Billy Loomis from the movie Scream?

And it is too bad that you have just people - it would be cool if you could add the car "Christine". She is fictional, but she is not a "person".

And another one maybe "The Creeper" from Jeepers Creepers - a picture of him at full wing span would be pretty cool. :)

message 74: by Justin (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments Id consider adding Ghostface rather than one person because more than one person was the killer in Scream. Good one.

Yeah I'm not big on killer cars although if I did Christine would be number one.

I like The Creeper. So I'll add him and Ghostface to the induction list.

message 75: by Justin (last edited Aug 24, 2017 12:02PM) (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments Charles Manson
Ted Bundy
Ed Gein
Ghostface

Charles Manson
Ted Bundy
Ed Gein
Ghostface
The Creeper
Rob Zombie
Otis B. Driftwood
Jigsaw
Count Orlok
Pyramidhead

message 77: by Marie (new)

Marie | 4030 comments Very cool, Justin! :) I forgot about Rob Zombie - that is a real good one!

message 79: by Justin (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments Its been a long time since I've inducted anyone into the Chamber so let's get some nominees rolling in here

message 80: by Marie (new)

Marie | 4030 comments Gee Justin, no one has posted anything yet and I have been trying to think of some evil people to put here. I have something, but they are not really horror, but they were evil.

Fictional:

Either Saruman or Sauron from Lord of The Rings
Voldemort (Harry Potter)

Real Life People:

Dennis Radar (BTK killer)

message 81: by Justin (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments Hi Marie, thanks for the comment and trying to think of some new people. Yeah it's getting harder to think of people.

Marie | 4030 comments Justin wrote: "Hi Marie, thanks for the comment and trying to think of some new people. Yeah it's getting harder to think of people."

Yeah I know! It seems like most of the good ones you already have in your horror chamber. I will keep trying to think of some for you though.

Maybe you need to rethink your previous post of the Headless Horseman. :)

I do have another fictional character - Andre Linoge from the movie Storm of the Century? Have you seen that movie? That is a great movie and he was a pretty wicked character in it.

message 83: by Justin (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments Remind me of my post on the Headless Horsemen cause I forgot lol. I'll consider the Storm of the Century guy as well as the guy from Needful Things Mr.Gaunt or something like that?

Post #63:
This is your post of the Headless Horseman. He was a candidate, but never became inducted. It is easy to forget. :)

Leland Gaunt is the name and yeah that would be cool if those two were inducted.

message 86: by Marie (new)

Marie | 4030 comments Also I just had another one hit me! lol

How about the yellow eyed demon from the tv show Supernatural? I just googled him and he has a ton of pics. So you wouldn't have a problem tracking down pictures of him! lol

message 87: by Justin (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments The following people will be inducted into the Chamber of Horrors:

The Headless Horseman
Shoko Asahara
Clive Barker
Eli Roth
(Stephen King Characters):
Andre Linoge
Leland Gaunt
Gage Creed
Randall Flagg

message 88: by Marie (new)

Marie | 4030 comments Cool Justin! I forgot about Clive Barker. How did we miss him? I am surprised no one mentioned him long time ago.

message 89: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan Clive Barker is a class act.

message 90: by Justin (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments I listed him but never added him, probably back when I was choosing people over others but yes he will go in.

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments The Chamber of Horrors is about 12 people away from 100...

message 93: by Marie (new)

Marie | 4030 comments I have maybe three more so let's see what you think of these:

Annie Wilkes from Stephen King's book Misery

The Hook Fisherman from the movie series I Know What You Did Last Summer

Henry Bowers from Stephen King's book It (Henry was already a psycho before Pennywise took him over)

message 94: by Xander (new)

Xander Cassel (xandercassel) | 8 comments Seconded for Annie.

message 95: by Justin (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments I'm a no on Annie Wilkes. Sure she kidnapped a man but she doesn't kill him so not crazy enough for me.

The hook guy might work I forgot about him. Oh that terror he caused poor Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddy Prince Jr

message 96: by Marie (new)

Marie | 4030 comments Justin wrote: "I'm a no on Annie Wilkes. Sure she kidnapped a man but she doesn't kill him so not crazy enough for me.

Yeah the hook fisherman did cause some havoc for those two! lol I actually just watched those two movies a couple of weeks ago. Yeah you are right about Annie as she didn't kill him, but I just threw her in there as she was a psycho. lol

message 97: by Justin (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments Need 14 inductees to get to 100, Here are 13 names, broken up into to be inducted and maybe.

To Be Inducted:
Patrick Bateman
Mrs. Voorhees
Cesare(The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari)
Herbert West(Re-Animator)
Regan MacNeil
The Leprechaun
Bruce Campbell
Slenderman
Mr. Hyde
The Fisherman/Ben Willis
*Jack Torrance(after much debate)

Maybe:
The Invisible Man
Tim Curry

*I've been against inducting Jack Torrance because he doesn't kill anyone in the book The Shining but does kill Dick Hallorann in the movie adaptation. I've been against the hotel driving him nuts but I state one way to get into the chamber is to have sinister intentions which he does, plus The Shining is my favorite movie and why I've battled with my own thought of inducting him to this point is ridiculous, Jack is in but then again perhaps he's always been in ;)

I'm effy on The Invisible Man because I'm forgetting if he kills and is he really all that scary? Sell me on it if you think so.

Tim Curry I'm considering because he played Pennywise(whose in as a character) and was in The Rocky Horror Picture Show but is that enough to put him in?

Feel free to gimme other nominees because there's one spot open and maybe three if these two aren't sold good enough.

message 98: by Steve (new)

Steve Parcell | 912 comments How about George Stark from The Dark Half?

Real people - Idi Amin, Pol Pot and Caligula?

message 99: by Justin (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments I'll consider George Stark but not the other two. I'm not currently considering former ruthless political dictators. I don't even have Hitler on the list for the same reason.

message 100: by Marie (new)

Marie | 4030 comments I agree with you Justin, I don't think the Invisible Man killed anyone and I don't think he is "scary" to even be put in the chamber. Also I agree with you on Tim Curry as though he played the part of Pennywise, it wasn't actually "himself" being portrayed as a killer.

I am still thinking of who else we can put into the chamber. We have so many great ones already that it is getting harder to come up with characters.
