Short book description:
Basically, these books tell two stories at once. Both involve the main character, Robert Hendricks, and are set about 150 years apart.
The overarching story line is a return home for Hendricks after spending 150 years roving the galaxy as a guest of the Gulran, an advanced extra-terrestrial species.
The sub-plot is Hendricks' recollections of the events that led to his leaving the planet a century-and-a-half before.
The story stretches over both books, so that's why I think it's important to read them both.

I'd also like to add that I'm working on book 3 in the series, and expect it to be out sometime next year...

These books sound amazing, but my nook can not read mobi :( I added them to my want to read list, if you ever get them in epub let me know I'd love to read them.
