Mark Burns (TheFailedPhilosopher) | 441 comments Well...both I suppose. When he tried to go there at christmas, (I'm Bi), I just assumed it was curiosity. I rejected his advances.

evie (ecie) | 4437 comments It's important to top up your vitamin D intake too. I'm sure I don't get my daily requirement.

Furry little fuckers.

message 267: by Amy (new)

Amy Neftzger (neftzger) | 304 comments I never trusted gerbils. Something in the eyes. They look like they could turn on you at any second. Not like hamsters.

message 268: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Damned Goodreads Slut-Gerbils.

message 269: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) FLFs.

message 270: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4437 comments I went for a walk in my lunch break yesterday. It wasn't a serious walk that required me to change my shoes to runners or wear shorts.

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
I walked home from the dr's office today. It was delightful, yet very thirsty-inducing.

message 272: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24779 comments Mod
So it induced thirsty, how interesting.

message 273: by Jammies (new)

message 276: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) You're excused.

message 277: by Jammies (new)

Jammies Btw, "we" do not hate gerbils. Skwerls are the evil rodents.

Emily E (emily_e1) | 1032 comments I walked to Albert lake today and watched the swans diving for food.

message 281: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments I walked the dog wearing pajama pants and a t-shirt. Hillbilly dog walker, that's me. It's too hot for regular clothing.

message 282: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24779 comments Mod
Aren't pajama pants hot? Aren't they long? Surely a pair of shorts would have been cooler. (And what's hillbilly about a t-shirt? Cynthia, are you one of those people who normally dress up to walk the dog? Business casual, perhaps? Khakis and a crisp polo shirt?)

message 283: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments No, I do not dress up for the dog walk. I do prefer a crisp white shirt (LL Bean) and some capris from Target.

These were long pajama pants and yes, shorts would have been cooler but my shorts-wearing days ended soon after my child-bearing days. My favorite pajama pants are thin cotton and capri-length.

message 284: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
What kind of shoes do you wear with your capris?

message 285: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Keens. Sandals. With short ankle socks, like runners wear. Don't tell me it's unfashionable, I do not care.

I'm getting ready to walk to Crazytown.

For that you need Star Wars pajama pants, fuzzy pink slippers, mis-matched socks and your shirt on backwards.

Don't ask me how I know this.

We three try to take walks down to the park in the evenings. Somedays it is my only exercise.

message 300: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Walking with your husband and child/children is the Best Thing Ever. Add a dog, even better. Sometimes Henry and Roxanne (yellow cats) come too, which is pretty much perfection.
