4.2 miles.

Yesterday I walked about 3 miles.

Today probably about 2.5 miles. I need a new battery for the pedometer so I can't say exactly.

Do you have a smartphone? You can download an app called Strava that will track your walk via GPS and tell you exactly how far you've gone.

My app is my pedometer. Also, I don't want any GPS tracking me, thanks.

I now live withing walking distance from a mosque. Finally!

I thought there was a mosque on every block in Mauritius.

I live in the other Mauritius. This mosque used to be a church but now has a new name and some satelite disks on the roof.

Ah. The other Mauritius.

I live within walking distance of a mosque, several synagogues, a Quaker meeting house, and about 4,000 churches.

How far is "walking distance?" If it's two miles, I can get to five mormon churches, but no other houses of worship.

Somewhere between 2-3 miles. Four is a bit far.

Four miles gets me to a baptist church (I think that's what it is).

I walked to the local church on Saturday to vote in the Council elections.

I may have 1 church that could potentially be within walking distance of where I live. It is a Lutheran church out in the country about 4 miles away.

Campustown (a few blocks away) has churches galore. And bars and tattoo shops. It's a mixed bag.

It would be the same distance to the closest bar, as it is across the road from the church.

Classic Midwestern arrangement. Some towns, like Dubuque, IA, have many more bars than churches.

A company for which I once worked took an all employee trip to England several years ago (before I joined the firm). A tour bus took them around to all of the old churches, which about half of the group wanted to see. At each stop, the other half wandered over to the corner pub which was invariably close by.

English pubs are always worth a visit...or two. One or two churches are worth visiting too.

1.5 miles today.

I fill in when other parents can't make it to their shift in the school lunchroom. We spend more than two hours walking up and down the aisles, keeping an eye on the kids and helping when necessary (kindergarten and first grade often have trouble with Gogurts, milk cartons, applesauce containers, etc.).

Probably 2-3 miles walked yesterday.

Probably 3-3.5 miles yesterday, today will be about 2.

We walked 2kms yesterday . We have been out walking three nights this week . I don't know the exact distance, about 3 or 4 kms . My sore hip joint feels much better.

About 2 miles yesterday, and about 2 miles today.

Oh, I thought this was like from somewhere to somewhere, like walking to the store rather than driving, or walking to a friend's house rather than driving. I've walked. I used to hike with the husband up until 2009 and we've taken a few less backpacky walks since.

Our evening walk last night was only about 2kms. I don't know if it is related to my big toe joint aching during the night. I wore decent walking shoes, so it must be arthritis.

We are still walking in the evening at least three times a week.

I walked during the day yesterday. Mr evie is visiting his dad in Kiama so I didn't do the usual night walk.

I walked part of the golf course today. A beautiful day, by the way.

I walk everywhere, near as dammit - I refer to our van as an electric vehicle because we have to charge the battery each time we're planning to use it ... oh, and dust the cobwebs off it! Mind you, as I work from home, a daily stroll is essential to avoid turning into Homer Simpson ... :-)

Today I walked to our local shopping centre. It's not very far and only takes about ten minutes. The thing is, I could of easily taken a bus, but I'm trying to say no to short bus rides.

We did our usual evening walk last night. There was a cool wind and a brilliant full moon.

On sunday, before the hurricane got close and it got too windy, some friends and I walked over the Manhattan Bridge from Chinatown into downtown Brooklyn. It's been ages since I've done that.

I seem to be walking less and less.. I plan to start catching the train again in November so hopefully that helps get me moving.

Last night we drove to one of our local beaches, and parked the car up on the hill overlooking the sea. We walked down to the beach and along the promenade and back again. The moonlight on the water was a picture.

Already walked 1.55 miles and the day is only half over.

The evening walk tonight had a bit of a twist . I managed to trip up on a little raised bit of the footpath, and then land in a horizontal position on the grassy incline at the side of the road. My glasses flew off too.
Mr evie was very wise and let me be the first one to laugh.
