Jenny (notestothemoon) | 846 comments I cannot believe it is May already. Where is the year going?!

It's time to nominate our theme/genre for June.

One nomination per person

**There must be 6 months between repeating a theme i.e. the themes/genres - historical fiction, new writers, banned/controversial, children's books, 20th Century female writers and a book with a flower in the title cannot be nominated**

You can make a genre more specific. E.g. English historical fiction would be fine.

3 days to nominate!

Do we have to go see the film when it comes out, John? ;o)

Good idea I'll second that one!

We might have to define "island". For example, would Australia count? LOL

Your call! I thought it might be nice to have the option for further discussion at a later point.

Good question! I would include any Island (Australia, British Isles or even specific islands such as Vancouver Island, if such a book existed) as that would open up a wide range of books. If we needed to narrow the choices down, we could narrow the definition of "island".
