I stole this idea (with permission) from the SOS: Serious Overload of Series group.

Over in a Flash ~ Cover Hunt & Theme Challenge ~
Duration: July 1st through July 31st.

Rules: Read 2 books with the following items found on their covers; choose 2 of the 3 options below. Be sure to post your book covers, dates read, and star ratings. If you want, you can do this at the end of the month after you reviewed your covers. Feel free to do all three, or more, if you want.

Member Choosing: Lisa (Aussie Girl) has been a GoodReads member since May, 2010, and a participant of Happily Ever After Café since July, 2012. She has does this for us before, but kindly stepped in at the last minute, when someone bowed out. What’s new for her? She’s going to be a new Grandma in September and is nearly exploding with the excitement of it all.

HOLIDAY THEMES: (1) 1. Canada Day: {July 1st} Read a book set in Canada or by a Canadian Author. (2) U.S. Independence Day: {July 4th} Read a book set around the time of the War of Independence in the USA 1775-1783 or a book set in one of the 13 original colonies - historical, present or future or read a book where the characters serve their country in some way (e.g., military past or present, first responder, in government, police, sheriff, DA, FBI, etc.) Or a book where the characters have a significant event which changes their life. (3) Bastille Day, France: {July 14th} Read a book set in France, past or present or a book where the theme is Liberty, Equality, Fraternity or a book with a French theme in cuisine, fashion or art or a book with Lords or Ladies, Kings or Queens of any country. (4) Anniversary of the Moon Landing in 1969: {July 20th} Read a book with a space theme or aliens. (5) Tell a Joke Day: {July 31st} Read a book with a comedic theme.

ITEMS: July’s Birthstone is ruby. Its flower is the Larkspur. Zodiac Signs are Cancer - The Crab or Leo - the Lion. Other cover items are flags, banners, stars, stripes, muskets, pistols or antique guns, military medals, soldier, maple leaf, mountains, rivers, parades, fireworks, picnics, bar-b-ques, moon, Lords or Ladies, crown or jewels.

What is the difference between Urban Fantasy (UF) verses Paranormal Romance (PNR)?

Steph gives a nice explanation about the difference between UF and PNR here in SOS. There is a great discussion that follows in that thread, too.
