Regina Morris (reginamorris) | 20 comments My name is Regina Morris and I would like to offer for review my novel "Eternal Service." It is book #1 in my Colony series. I have ten e-copies to offer (PDF, mobi, & ePub formats).

"Eternal Service" is a humorous and sexy, fast-paced, adult Paranormal Romance featuring a group of vampires who protect the President of the United States. It is a full length novel and can be read as a stand alone story apart from the remaining books in the series. If you would like to know more about the Colony books, please visit my website: http://www.reginamorris.com

Trailer: http://www.reginamorris.com/eternal-s...

Summary:
Vampires exist among us. They can be our neighbor, best friend, our child's teacher ...

They alter their aged appearance based upon the amount of blood they consume. They move to a new area, drink a lot of blood, and appear young. Slowly they limit their intake of blood and age, right in front of our unsuspecting eyes. After decades, they fake their death, move, and do it over and over again.

Most live quiet lives in an effort to blend in.

Some however want power and control.

The Colony is an elite group of vampires sworn to protect the President of the United States from these rogue vampires.

When Raymond Metcalf, vampire coven master of the Colony, teams up with a federal operative of the human female persuasion–who has no idea that vampires even exist–will his mission or his heart be compromised first?

Career military woman, Alex Brennan, is being offered the promotion of a lifetime and with it a romance that she has desperately been seeking. Does she dare accept the position as Director of the Colony, an elite group of deadly creatures of the night and risk a dangerous romance with a man who isn’t even human?

Together, can they save the President?

Please post reviews on Goodreads & Amazon (if possible).

REMEMBER: if you're posting a review on Amazon, you should state that you, "received Eternal Service from the author for an honest review." If Amazon notices a review posted and the reviewer did not buy the book from Amazon, they delete it!

Regina Morris (reginamorris) | 20 comments Please leave a review on Goodreads. I think this thread is where we are suppose to discuss the book. I know two of the five of you have read it, so let's give everyone 2 more weeks. I think reviewers are given 3 weeks to read and then we have 1 week to discuss on this thread.

Regina Morris (reginamorris) | 20 comments Ok, I've taken a look at just a couple of the R2R discussions that have been archived. I didn't see what I thought I was supposed to see. :-(

I'm just going to toss out 3 discussion topics. For those of you who have read the book, please wait 2 weeks until you post your comments here. For those of you who are still reading the book, think about these three discussion topics.

The book is listed in Vampire, Romance and Erotica. So the topic points will be about those three different areas.

(Please remember, this is my first R2R and I'm trying to follow the rules the best I can. I'm limiting the discussion to just three topics.)

1) In the vampire world of "Eternal Service", vampires can go out during daylight, change their age by how much blood they consume, half-breeds are different from purbreds, some have special powers, etc. Please comment on the vampire world as to anything you believe was unique to The Colony world and/or what you really liked about the world.

2) This is a romance. Please comment on the romantic aspect of this book. (Please don't comment about the sex, but the courtship, the sexual tension, and what you thought of the main couple).

3) This book is classified as erotica. Please comment on the sexual scenes (nothing graphic, just more or less if the scenes worked, if they were hot, etc).

Thanks,
Regina

Hi Regina I'm not sure what specifically you were looking for pertaining to the process of R2R but if you have questions please don't hesitate to ask. DM to me are always welcomed too. I know every group does their R2Rs a little different and I appreciate you following the rules here :)

Although more book discussions occur in the Book of the Month section, it's also great to see a discussion started here too!

kindly,
Lisa

Regina Morris (reginamorris) | 20 comments Hi Lisa,

Thanks. My impression was that this thread would do a very high-level discussion of the book. Just a broad sweep of where it fits within it's categories. Not a specific rating (that's what the Goodreads ratings/reviews are for) but more of a general comment about where the book would fit onto a bookshelf -- if that makes sense.

Regina

Candy Golden (medclerk48) | 24 comments Please let me know when the discussion starts? I would love to comment and get in on the convo!

Regina Morris (reginamorris) | 20 comments We are now into the 3rd week of the R2R. Please make sure to leave your reviews on Goodreads if you have not already done so.

This book is listed as a paranormal erotic romance. Please take a moment to comment on these three topics. Thanks!
