Alright, so do you have any ideas? I was thinking along the lines of either a high school roleplay or fantasy roleplay or both :)
Alright cool. Would you mind the Middle Ages fantasy with knights and sorcery and dragons ect.?
Do you wanna do the typical knight/common girl romance or do you have any ideas?
Okay is that enough to go on? Do you want to be the knight or the common girl?
Okay :) do you want me to start or shall you?
-Start-
There were times where Leo really wished he was not always on the front line of danger. When he became a knight he knew that his life would get more dangerous from that day on because he would have to serve the king in battle but he never knew that he would always be on the front lines. It was a true miracle that he was still alive to this day.
Today was no different unfortunately. The knights were sent to deal with a bandits raid on a small town towards the border of the kingdom. Sir Leo, Sir Ulric, and Sir Fredrick were sent to check the severity of the situation. The trio rode in on horse to what seemed to be a deserted town with bodies scattered everywhere.
"Check for survivors!" Sir Leo called out towards the rest of his three man group. The site before him horrified him. How on earth could he deliver this news to the king?

"Check for survivors!" Sir Leo called out towards the rest of his three man group. The site before him horrified him. How on earth could he deliver this news to the king?

Sir Leo lifted up boards, looked into houses with his sword drawn in case of uncalled for danger, and called out for anyone still alive. It was to the point where he was about to give up and fall back before he looked up to a building with many windows. The movement behind those windows gave Leo both hope someone might have survived and fear that there were still murderers remaining from the slaughter. Sir Ulric and Sir Fredrick were both notified and stayed close behind Leo. The door opened easily as the trio entered the rotting building. Sir Leo made a hand gesture for the three of them to disperse. Sir Ulric went downstairs, Sir Fredrick stayed on the same level they were on and Sir Leo went upstairs. The floors creaked as Leo made his way up the stairs with his sword drawn and ready. With steady steps and slow breaths he was able to hear scuffling in the next room. With a deep breath Leo forcibly hit the door with his shoulder only to find a frightened woman hiding behind an unmade bed.
"It's alright," Sir Leo approached the woman slowly with an outstretched hand. "I'm here to help."

The news about no one else alive in the town put a very heavy weight on Leo's shoulders. He called out to the other knights and told them the news. Both of his friends faces fell and they shook their heads before returning back to their horses. Leo turned to the girl and said, "You can wait by the horses if you wish. Sir Ulric, Sir Fredrick and I will give a proper burial to the dead."

It took a few hours to find and place all of the people from this slaughter into their last resting place. There was only one person left and she was next to the horses with the woman weeping beside her. Sir Leo slowly walked over to the woman and placed a gloved hand over her shoulder for comfort. "I'm sorry for your loss." Leo knew the sight of someone mourning, you would just have to look at Leo a few years ago. "We'll put her in a special place if you wish."

A small smile graced Leo's lips as he called over the other knights to bury the middle aged woman just like they did all the others; First they covered her with dirt then found some stones to put in place as a headstone. A flower bush was found nearby that Leo picked a few flowers off of it and placed it on top of the grave and said a silent pray for her like he did with the others. After that was done with Leo walked over to the woman and asked, "What's your name?"

"What a beautiful name, Miss Layla." Leo's black shaggy hair fell down into his green eyes as he looked down on the woman and then bowed slightly to her. "My name is Sir Leo Hudson." Leo straightened back up into his standing position and waved his hand. "No need for thanks for it is only our job to help."
"Sir Leo, settle down boy. Trying to woo a woman even in her time of despair?" Sir Ulric could be heard laughing along with Sir Fredrick as they mounted their horses to start their journey back to the city.
"You have got to learn how to tone down your charm Leo." Sir Fredrick Los mounted his horse with a smirk.
"You two think too lowly of me." A dead panned expression was shot the pair's way then he turned to Layla. "Excuse my companions over there. They are but twiddle dee and twiddle dumb."
"HEY!" The duo both said in unison.
"Now Layla," Sir Leo continued with and ignored his friends. "You will have to come back to the city with us. If it is alright with you, the king will need you to recount what had happened so we can further investigate who did this."

"Well, let us ride on then." Leo approached his horse and mounted it before looking onward towards Layla. "What are you waiting for, climb on." Leo said with a wide smile. "It should take us only a day to get back to the city."

With the click of his tongue and light kick from his boot Leo managed to get the horse going and his two friends followed after him. The three of them rode in silence for a few hours before Leo noticed evening approaching. "We should take refuge for the night and then leave at first light." Leo suggested to the rest of his group before stopping his horse. After he had dismounted he had put out a hand to help Layla off the horse. "Hopefully the ride was not too bumpy for you."

Leo smiled back and then started to get supplies from the bags that were connected to the saddles. Between the four of them there were only rations separated into three since the trio was not expecting to bring back anyone. It was only a check-out mission, after all. Who new it was a complete massacre and there would be only one survivor?
It took a while to get a fire going since it had rained earlier in the day but Sir Ulric had some luck and then Sir Fredrick started making dinner. Sir Leo sat on a nearby rock and took his gloves off to wipe his face with his hands. He had set up the sleeping arrangements which only consisted of three blankets and small worn out pillows. As Leo gazed into the fire he got lost in his own thoughts. Whoever those bandits may be, they will not be only be answering to the king once they are caught, but they will be answering to Leo as well. There is no greater scum in Leo's mind then those who blindly kill only for their own benefit.
"How's dinner going?" Leo asked his friend who was manning the small black cauldron full of stew.
"It's done if you want some." Sir Fredrick started to hand Leo a bowl but then handed it over to Layla. "But ladies first."
"And I'm the one that's trying to woo her?" Leo looked in disbelief and crossed his arms.
"I already have a woman, remember?" Fredrick turned to Layla. "A beautiful doe eyed gal who I met in in the city one time. She is part of the reason why I became a knight."
"Yeah, to show off." Sir Ulric laughed and Leo laughed along with him.
"It's not my fault that I'm good at what I do." Sir Fredrick handed our the rest of the portions to everyone else and himself and then raised his bowl. "Dig in everybody."

Both Ulric and Fredrick looked back at Leo who was still finishing the rest of his stew. It only took him moments to notice the watchful eyes of his friends and a curious expression graced his features.
"What?"
"Aren't you going to follow her?"
"Why should I? Seems like she wants to be alone and I'm going to leave her alone. She's been through a lot."
"This is the perfect situation to comfort a gorgeous woman and you're not taking it. I cannot believe you Leo Hudson." Ulric shook his head disapprovingly and Leo let out an irritated growl.
"Fine! I'll check on her only to make you guys happy. You two I swear..." Leo went to mumble obscenities under his breath before he composed himself and went into the woods to find himself a beautiful site.
Under the moonlight it was as if Layla was shining and sparkling like a mythical creature he has never seen before. Maybe his friends were right about him coming out here. Of course he would not take advantage of the girl in this fragile state she is in, but he knew partially what she is going through, so maybe he could provide some comfort.
"It's kinda cold tonight, isn't it?" Why to start talking about the weather, Leo. Smart move.

"It's very beautiful, huh." Leo said as he sat down next to Layla and looked up at the sky as well. "My father was a astronomer of sorts, so he would take me out into an open field and just name one constellation after another. It was very interesting, though I never managed to follow in his footsteps as you can see." A chuckle escaped Leo as he sighed and then looked down on the ground. "...So, do you want to talk about anything?"

A small smile crossed Leo's lips as he looked out over the cliff they were sitting on over to the other side. He took a deep breath before saying, "Maybe you shouldn't let go of your past. I mean, our past is what makes us who we are today. The past can hurt, but you can either run from it or learn from it." Leo linked his hands together then set them in his lap. "I ran from my past for a long time then I met someone special to me. An uncle is what I think of him as though he could very well be my father at this point. Anyway, he was the main reason I became a knight in the first place. It was a chance to redeem myself as a person and actually do good in my life for once."

"Quiet the interesting philosophy you have there, Miss Layla." Leo said in a truthful manner. Leo then got up from his seat then turned towards the young woman. "Come on, let's go get some sleep. We got a big day ahead of us tomorrow."

As Leo and Layla both approached back to the others Leo noticed how his companions did not even bother staying up and waiting for them. With the roll of his eyes he said under his breath. "Well it looks like I'm keeping watch first." Leo pointed over to his blankets and pillow that were laid neatly on the ground. "You can sleep over there." He spoke to Layla softly to make sure he did not wake the others.

"Good night." Leo whispered back as he leaned against a tree and tried to remain awake. It took about a day to get to the town, then a day to search through the town and respectfully bury the dead, and then it will take another day to get back to the city. So, truthfully, Leo was miserably tired. Not that he would complain or anything though getting back to the city safely and being able to sleep in his own bed soon sounded very good to him right now. With a sigh he remained at post for a few more hours before waking Sir Ulric to switch shifts. Once Leo's head hit the pillow and he covered himself with the thin sheet he was fast asleep.

The sun hitting his face followed by a rough pat on the back was what woke Leo from his deep sleep.
"Come on, Leo. You're the one that said we ride at first light. So, let's ride." Sir Ulric could be heard then his foot steps made his way to what Leo guessed was the fire.
"Breakfast is all ready too. After we eat we can start our journey." Sir Fredrick was making another meal once more as the sounds of clanking and the fire roaring was heard from where Leo was.
"Alright, alright. I'm up." Leo slowly got up and could feel his sore back and legs cracking as he did so. Man the sound of sleeping in the bed sure was good right now.
"Hey everyone! Breakfast is ready!" He called out to the three others. Leo gratefully took a bowl of what seemed to be oats. It was not long before he finished the bowl and said thank you to Fredrick for the meal.

Leo helped Layla on top of the horse before he himself mounted it. "Alright, let's move." He said and with a small kick on the horse they started moving towards the kingdom. "We should get there by the afternoon." He notified Layla as they continued to ride. "I don't think the king will hold a meeting about your town until tomorrow morning. After all, we all need out rest."

"We're here." Leo slowed down the horse and looked on towards the city and the large castle in the middle of it. As they entered Leo greeted his fellow knights who stood guard at the city entrance and then rode the horse through town. The sun was setting so most of the people were in their homes and making dinner for their families. Knights patrolled the area and made sure everyone would be safe for the night.
Once the group was at the castle steps Leo dismounted his horse and offered a hand to Layla so she can get down as well. After she did Leo gave the horse to the stable hand who had been waiting for them to return.
"What do you think so far?" Leo asked Layla about the city.

"That was quiet morbid." Leo commented then shrugged it off and decided to not comment further. A servant came down the stairs and welcomed everyone back to the city. Leo explained vaguely of Layla's predicament and the servant said she would get a room ready for her. The knight thanked the woman and then spotted Sir Fredrick and his misses saying a very friendly hello to each other.
"Oh get a room." Ulric stated to the two of them then Fredrick turned with a smirk.
"Gladly."
"Oh Fredrick," Leo scoffed with a disgusted look on his face then shook his head. He then turned to Layla and said, "I'll lead you to your room."

Leo made his way up the stairs and was glad to back in very familiar territory without worry or the thought of being attacked. On the way to the town the trio had been ambushed once and let's just say if it wasn't for Sir Urlic Leo would not be walking on this Earth right now. The way back was a simple cake walk which put Leo at ease.
It did not take long to find the room Layla would be staying in for the time being. Leo opened the door and gestured into the well made room. The bed was in the center with, at least, 5 pillows resting on it along with fine silk comforters and sheets. The privacy sheets hung on the top of the frame of the bed and were tied to the bed posts at each end of the bed. Overall the room looked as if it were prepared for a visiting noble.
"Hope the room is to your liking. Knowing the king he would want you to stay here for a while as you adjust and learn your way around."
