Reflected in You discussion

I am halfway through Entwined With You and I am having some trouble remembering some of the details and characters in the previous books since there was so much time in between Reflected and Entwined. Can someone help me answer some questions, please?

1. Who is Ian Hager
2. What part did Dr. Lucas play in Gideon's past?
3. Who is Hugh?
4. Did Gideon's mom know of the abuse? He was adopted, right?
5. Was there any detail as to how Gideon killed Nathan?
6. How did Gideon "end" his relationship with Eva in Reflected? Did he just start pulling away? I don't remember!!

I haven't read in a while so BARE (pun intended) with me. I forgot a lot.

4. She took him to the doctor (we don't know if it was Dr. L or not) and the Dr. said they saw no evidence that he was sexually abused. (But that doesn't mean the abuser didn't JO or touch themselves in front of Gideon or even raped him but somehow no evidence was reflected, or the abuser could have paid off Dr. Lucas). So the mom doesn't believe him and thinks G was doing it for attention.
4b. No he was not adopted. His dad died and his mom remarried and had two kids Ireland and Chris Jr. so he has two half sibs.
5. I really hope that's not a spoiler! But still there was no proof. Nathan was just in the hotel Gideon just so happen to own, but his alibi was that he was at a launching party, in the same hotel.
6. Eva ended it, while G was at the police station. Then he was seen with exs and she was seen with Brett. (hide spoiler)]

If anyone wants to make corrections to my answers please do! I know I may be wrong on some and I want to come back when I read ETW.

5. gideon killed nathan while eva is with carry . he make sure that eva was with carry the whole time , for eva to have a evidence to be out of the suspect . gideon set up a party , then theres a fire in the kitchen so the guest will evacuated and the hotel close for an hour . graves said it will only take a 15 minutes walk from hotel to nathan apartment . graves think that when nathan open the door and gideon stab him. ---- its on the end of reflected graves telling eva what happen to nathan case , i hope it helps . let me know if theres wrong

i thinks it dr. lucas who examined gideon if he's abused or not . lucas said that he's not ( but he is ) . it might be the reason why gideon screwed lucas wife . and i don't know what series but im sure there is a confrontation between eva and gideon mother about gideon being abuse.

^^^Yeah on her website before EWY came out we had a lot of speculation that Lucas was the Dr. or the guy the mom hired to help Gideon with his anger problems.

Did anyone else find this odd? In the first book, I thought they said the age gap between Gideon and Dr. Lucas was just a few years, so it confused me as to how he would be a doctor already.

Yeah I think there are discrepancies in Dr Lucas' age between the three books.

So I wound up re-reading / skimming Bared and Reflected so I could better understand Entwined. I got all the answers to my questions! Don't want to spoil it for anyone so I won't post answers to my own questions! ;)

(view spoiler)[1. Who is Ian Hager - This was the guy that Cary was having the foursome with when Eva came home and Ian approached her asking if she wants to join. Gideon catches all of this and beats him up.

2. What part did Dr. Lucas play in Gideon's past? Dr. Lucas was the pediatrician that Gideon's mom went to when Gideon was a child. Eva accuses Dr. Lucas of not doing the right thing and protecting Gideon b/c he was covering something up and told Gideon's mom that everything checked out fine with Gideon, which then made his mother think Gideon was lying about being abused. There is more detail about Dr. Lucas in Entwined, but I will not go into detail for those who have not read it yet.

3. Who is Hugh? I'm not sure if it would be a spoiler of sorts if I said who this is only because I don't recall whether he was mentioned in Reflected or Bared.

4. Did Gideon's mom know of the abuse? He was adopted, right? Gideon's mom did know, but not initially. And no he wasn't adopted - I got this part confused with another book! :P

5. Was there any detail as to how Gideon killed Nathan? No details. At the end of Reflected it alluded to the fact that Gideon killed Nathan, but no details.

6. How did Gideon "end" his relationship with Eva in Reflected? Did he just start pulling away? I don't remember!! He put his plan in motion when they came back from their getaway and found out that Cary was attacked. So while Eva was spending time with Cary in the hospital, Gideon was starting to pull away and was seemingly spending a lot of time with Corrine, making it look like he was back with her and using her as an alibi for when he kills Nathan. This was all done to make sure no one suspected Gideon or Eva, so there was no longer a motive for Gideon if they were no longer together. (hide spoiler)]

2. What part did Dr. Lucas play in Gideon's past?
→ Gideon's mom hired Dr. Lucas as a shrink.

4. Did Gideon's mom know of the abuse? He was adopted, right?
→ Yes, his mom knew he was abused but don't believed him. He's not adopted. In fact, he's the only son before his mother married Mr. Vidal.

5. Was there any detail as to how Gideon killed Nathan?
→ It's on book 2 "Reflected in You" last chapter. It's the detective who provided information to Eva.

6. How did Gideon "end" his relationship with Eva in Reflected? Did he just start pulling away? I don't remember!!
→ No break-up. It's just Gideon's alibi for his plan of killing Nathan.
