2. i loved the quotes at the beg. of each chapter::but there again i love having titled chapters
3 yep the book was about he right length::the story was concise it did not seem to be dragged out or too rushed::
4 i'm def going to read Ink Exchange::i want to find out more about the charaters we met in this book:: Ashs' friend Leslie::and what happens in the faery world::
5 i thought this was a really nice book::the romantic parts between Seth and Ash were really very very sweet::Seth is a sexy guy who could have anyone but he loves Ash....and all the little things he does to her/for her are nice::he's considerate and kind::i liked the way the story finished::i am really glad i read this::

2. Loved the quotes, wouldn't change it
3. Definitely long enough, leaving you want for more but enough plot to help you feel like it was a good end.
4. Already read the other two.
5. Love this book, love this series. I really like the way Ash handled the situation and didn't just cave and give up her love for Seth.

1. Cover... hmmm... doesn't match at all. It's a cool cover but just not a depiction of the book.
2. Quotes - I listened to the audio book so I wasn't a big fan of the quotes. Generally, I like quotes in books but with the audiobook it didn't have the same appeal.
3. Length of Book - I'll be honest, there were parts of the book that dragged for me. But overall, it was a fine length.
4. Ink Exchange? - Most definately! I have it on audiobook already & will probably listen to it later this month.

2. I enjoyed the quotes.
3. The lenght was fine for me, any longer and it would have dragged on.
4. I already bought Ink Exchange before I was finished with Wicked Lovely! :)
5. I loved the book!! Can't wait to read the rest of them.

2. I thought the quotes were great--they give a little perspective of the fairy lore that is out there.
3. They length of the book was good. The story has enough closure (no cliffhangers), but leaves the reader wanting more stories about the characters.
4. I read all the books once 'Fragile Eternity' was published, so I guess that's a yes.
5. I found the book enjoyable, but I don't think I'll be buying it for my home library--borrowing it is good enough. I've read the other books already and plan to continue to read any more books that come out for this series, but for me, these books are brain candy. They are a nice distraction and while it's one of the better ones I've read, it isn't a series that I couldn't live without.

Hmmm...I'm not really a cover person, but I don't really see much significance of this cover to the rest of the story...Maybe its just me..LOL
2. What do u think of the quote at the beginning of each chapter?
I think it was okay, although I felt they were slightly irrelevant. Also, I didn't feel them very "quotable" if you get my drift...
3. Was the Book long enough for ya?
I think it is of decent length.
4. Would you read book 2 Ink Exchange?
Unfortunately, this first book did not impress me much, so I'm in no rush to get the 2nd book. Might pick it up when I have a slow month.
5. Over all what did u think of the book?
It was an okay read. Unfortunately, the characters were a little flat for me, and I cannot seem to relate to their dilemmas, so in the end, I was not totally invested on what their fates will be.
1. What do u think of the Front cover? the cover was nice. but i think over all they need to start making covers to go with the book not just because they look good. i think the cover should mean something. :)
2. What do u think of the quote at the beginning of each chapter? i liked the quotes at first, but as i read more i felt i just skipped the quotes i want to just get to the book..
3. Was the Book long enough for ya? i have to agree with Shanon it did drag a little in parts . but for me i liked the book.
4. Would you read book 2 Ink Exchange? yes
5. Over all what did u think of the book? over all i liked the book i will read book 2 cant wait.

I just started Ink Exchange. I love the cover and have been pleasantly surprised to find out that it does have to do with the book. In fact, I have referred to the cover to get a better idea of what the tattoo in the story looks like.
Here's a good, big picture of the cover if you haven't seen it:

Makes me think that the cover for Wicked Lovely has more to do with the book then I realized. Does anyone know what type of flower is on the cover?

2. The quotes at the begining of the chapter were amazing - but I did not treat them as if they were part of the story I just read it does that make since?
3. I cannot answer the YA question as I have only read a few and Twilight seemed longer
4. I plan to read the next one
5. Over all I liked the book it kept me interested and since it was YA I am glad she was able to have a semi normal life

From Melissa Marr's website faq:
"What type of flowers are on the cover? they're absolutely fantastic!" (Jan 2008)
Orchids. I picked them b/c they're fragile, the sort of things that struggle to survive, and here they are blooming & strong in Ash's hands despite the snow that should kill them. To me, that felt like an image of hope against difficult odds.
Thanks Dori - They are beautiful flowers.
I searched around and found a bigger picture of the cover. I downloaded the audiobook so I don't have it in front of me. I found a picture that I could see the details on & noticed there was frost on the flower and hands too. I think it's a great depiction of summer vs. winter so I'm changing my initial reaction to the cover. I think it fits with the book very well (now that I've seen it better :) )

2. What do u think of the quote at the beginning of each chapter?
It's interesting that the quotes didn't continue through the series. Only Wicked Lovely had them.
