Get Your Shorts in a Bunch discussion

Discussion of the story "Next in Line" in This Close. Spoilers may appear.

This was a sad story, yet ended on an encouraging note. Eva dealt with the loss of her daughter and finally came to grips with it. I left this story with the belief that she and her husband will move on with their lives in a positive manner. They might even have another child one day.

Rather poignant tale.

I enjoyed it and while not able to empathise with it (fortunately) I could sympathise with it. I thought it reminds is as parents how lucky we are of our children
