Gail/Ladyvolz Bowman (ladyvolz) | 343 comments has anyone read this author? Simon Becket. He has two books out already
The Chemistry of Death by Simon Beckett
and
Written in Bone by Simon Beckett

and this book is set for release on May 19th and is set at UT's Body Farm and in the Smoky Mountains.
Whispers of the Dead by Simon Beckett

The MC is a forensic person so was wondering if anyone has read and your thoughts.

I read CHEMISTRY OF DEATH a year or so ago. Don't remember a lot about it, but I liked it well enough to buy WRITTEN IN BONE when it came out in paperback. That is still on my TBR pile.

Donna in Southern Maryland (cedarville922) | 120 comments I haven't heard of this author either; I have read the books that are written by the Doctor in charge at UT's Body Farm. Written with a co-author, they use "Jefferson Bass" as the author name. I'll have to check out Simon Becket (which also sounds like a made-up name).

Cheryl | 547 comments Simon Becket is a journalist who lives in England. The first two books have an English setting. I do believe that he comes to the US in the most recent book.
