What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Okay, so itshould have been a good six-seven years-ish since I read the book. I don't remember if it was new at the time, so might be older. The only info I remember very clearly is that near the end when she ( the main character was a girl) finds the recipe or secret of some sort, and everyone decides a party where they make food(cake?) out of it. It turns out that it tastes different to each person, based on whatever their favorite food is. Also, I think this was a world of fairies, where they lived around trees or something. It was a very easy read, and the basic story is that this girl goes snooping around into someone else's place ( I may be wrong, but I seem to recall that she stole it from her enemies) to get this secret recipe. Am I ringing any kind of bell for anyone? I know its not a lot of info, but I'll keep my hopes up!

Could it have been witches instead of fairies? Was it a picture book? If so...

For some reason this description is reminding me of one of the Dorrie, the Little Witch series. Take a look at this author's books and see if they look familiar: Patricia Coombs.

The setup of the book sort of reminds me of the kids' cartoon Pearlie, which was based on a book series about Fairies living in a park. There is one about Pearlie making a cake for her aunt's party. Pearlie and Great Aunt Garnet

If not the above, do you remember any illustrations? Was the girl a fairy or was she a human? Do you remember the cover?

I'm fairly certain that the book was about fairies, or at the very least, species very similar as they could fly.
@MB: I don't recall anything with witches, and Dorrie's sort of adventures don't ring a bell. I don't think that's it, but thanks for trying!
@Tab: The plot of your book matches some of mine, but I'm sure that it didn't involve her aunt, or her buying presents. It focused only on the cake part. But the more I think about it, she may have been doing this for someone's surprise birthday party!

I read this one! Disney fairy... It has pictures maybe?
The baking fairy is forced to take a vacations and she's not supposed to bake the whole time, but she finds a secret recipe so she sneaks around and end up making this massive cake?
I'll go find the book, I have it somewhere.
