Why didn't Bethany just jump off? It's not like she would die by jumping off a motorcycle, she's IMMORTAL!! It's so ridiculous

Wait I thought that Jake put this shield thingy that prohibited her from getting off. So if my memory serves me right then this is what happened, when Jake showed Beth Xavier he made sure that she does not get of by putting up a protection cover.

Yeah and I hate how Bethany is supposed to be a freaking angel and she spends all her time with a guy instead of, I don't know, maybe trying to help the world! Like she was sent there to do!!!
The real reason was because she was stuck to the bike if you guys read the book properly. She could not move or hop off
Bethany was just stupid. There really is not other reason. She's a freakin' angel, she should know how to get off a motorcycle.
That's not it, it clearly says in the second book "Halo" that Bethany was stuck and tried to reach out to Xravier but she could not move.
