Goodreads Choice Awards Book Club discussion

I think I've done this right now. lol

Synopsis:

Cassia has always trusted the Society to make the right choices for her: what to read, what to watch, what to believe. So when Xander's face appears on-screen at her Matching ceremony, Cassia knows with complete certainty that he is her ideal mate... until she sees Ky Markham's face flash for an instant before the screen fades to black.

The Society tells her it's a glitch, a rare malfunction, and that she should focus on the happy life she's destined to lead with Xander. But Cassia can't stop thinking about Ky, and as they slowly fall in love, Cassia begins to doubt the Society's infallibility and is faced with an impossible choice: between Xander and Ky, between the only life she's known and a path that no one else has dared to follow.

I might try and join in on this one too if I can. I've already got a few books to get through in August but I've had this one on my TBR for so long and would love to read it with everyone.

I swallowed the whole series in a matter of days. I really enjoyed it. I find the dystopian YA books the most enjoyable of the genre.

Does anyone else find it similar to Selection?

I will start this book next week, I still have some other reads to finish :)

Because the book world is now full of them Rida! :) However at least this one as all of them published.

I liked it but I didn't love it. I liked story concept and the characters but it felt a little detached and cold.

i agree. As far as Matched is concerned I dont like it that much. It was realy interesting at the start and at the endt i got totally bored at the mid and wanted to escape from it
