No earthquakes. We get the name from the Quakers, who originally settled here. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quaker... I'm originally from St Louis, MO. We settled here after we were both off active duty. My husband and I were in the military together at an airbase close by. He eventually retired from the Air Force Reserves. When we met we were both in the Marines.
