The poll for the August group read is closed, and the winner is
Great Tales of Terror and the Supernatural
by Phyllis Wagner. I did some research on the availability of the book and discovered that it was last published in 1994. It's available from Amazon and Barnes & Noble in hardback for around $20, but the stock at each may be very low. I didn't find any available paperback or ebook editions. Because of the potential difficulty in obtaining a copy, I've decided to have two choices for our August read. The next best vote-getter in the poll was
Collected Stories
by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. It's available from Barnes & Noble and Amazon in paperback for around $12. You may also be able to find either volume at your local library.

That's great, Mark. Did you have any trouble finding a copy of Great Tales of Terror and the Supernatural?

I now have both books sitting on my nightstand waiting for August to arrive. Can't promise that I'll be able to hold back til then though.
Great Tales of Terror and the Supernatural this was tough to locate in my area. Luckily I obtained a copy from the "Link+" feature from my local library
These are the stories I grew up with, and even though I've read many of them over and again before, they are like old friends that are always welcome for revisiting. :)
Gabriel Garcia Marquez!!! I've had "Collected Stories" on my shelf for the past few months, just waiting to be read when I'm caught up on time and this will be the perfect opportunity. Can't for it!

Just put a hold on Great Tales, should be at my local library branch in the next day or two. Love the Portland (OR) library system! :)
