Yay! I'm so excited. I saw it signed up at Anderson's Bookstore and I regret not picking it up.

Almost forgot about it! I'll be starting it later tonight.

This is a really good book. Alley, since I think I remember that you like Holly Black, you should like this :)

Me too. I’ve been eying this series forever! I might keep going they don’t seem to be too long.

I'm reading the first right now! Very interesting.

Ch. 5 (view spoiler)[ It's weird the school kicked him out. I don't get why they would do that. Doesn't make any sense to me, if anything they would've put him in counseling at the school. Also, I'm not convinced he killed Lila and his brothers are weird. I'm enjoying the whole curse worker thing a lot! (hide spoiler)]

Ch. 13 (view spoiler)[ Woooo Lila has been turned back to a human!! How strange to think that she was a cat this whole time. But wth is his brothers' plan?? This is horrible. And there's something wrong with his brothers that they would do this to Cassel. They should be helping each other not beating Cassel so badly he blacks out. And Barron is fucking with Cassel's memories, omg I'm furious. (hide spoiler)]

Seriously so twisted and messed the hell up. And then his mom goes and fucks up Lila's mind like that. Ugh I'm frustrated. But I like Cassel and I liked his con. That shit was pretty neat. (view spoiler)[Yeah workers have powers so his grandfather is a death worker and can kill people with a touch. His mom is an emotion worker so she can alter emotions. Cassel believes he has no powers because his family has always treated him like an outsider and he doesn't display anything. His friend Lila was a dream worker. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I like the MC so much. He's mysterious and intriguing. There are times when I think I got him figured but no. There are so many sides of him. I think this would be an unpredictable read. (I sure do hope so.) (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 6-10
(view spoiler)[ So I was really hoping for a bad ass and overly confident character but I get a very pitiful one. I feel bad for Cassey with how he feels like he doesn't belong anywhere, not with his family nor with his friends at school. But it's nice that he has the guts to work on finding out the mystery that's happening within his family. I have the feeling that he's the transformation worker and Barron's a memory worker. I feel like the mystery's too easy and that maybe there are other twists that would break my jaw (hopefully). (hide spoiler)]

Cassel is on the roof of his dorm building and everyone is trying to talk him out of jumping but he keeps on seeing this white cat that he is chasing, so obviously he doesn’t jump cuz the story is about him right? So he has another dream where he dreams the cat again and this time it’s the Lila cat and she is telling him that she has been cursed and transformed into a cat ant that she needs his help! Why you say? Cuz he is the one that turned her into a cat… interesting. (hide spoiler)]

65% (view spoiler)[ I don’t like Anton he sounds like a real douchbag, he is using Cassel to kill his uncle so he can be the boss, he already thinks he is the boss, and Cassel’s brothers are stupid! How can they let Anton hurt Cassel like that? What kind of brothers just let that happen? And how are they really planning to just murder Zacharov? And of course they had something to do with killing Lila! They made Cassel do it. (hide spoiler)]

And btw for those of you who read the physical, Cassel's name's pronounced Castle XD I got confused when I get the physical version of his name.

I'm probably not continuing this series. If I do it'll be later in the month.

I know. I easily get lost in the details. Their world is hard to get on to. I get confused easily but I like the MC and I'm hoping he'll do something outstanding soon. XD
