Local book club member picked To Kill a Mockingbird. So I will begin my 4th or 5th reading. I'm not mad at it. Still a great book.

I also started The Magic Mountain by Thomas Mann.

I hardly ever do this but I highly recommend the Korean movie inspired by this one, "The Handmaiden". It is absolutely beautiful and the setting of Japanese occupied Korea gives it an added intensity as do the later portions of the movie that are considerably...bolder- in the best of ways- than the book.
