The Lost Steps by Alejo Carpentier

The Novel of Ferrara by Giorgio Bassani which contains The Garden of the Finzi-Continis (a Boxall list book and #3 in the Il Romanzo di Ferrara Series). I have to read them all, in order, so I'm starting with #1 Within the Walls.
