Which LIST book did you just start?
I'm starting Storm of Steel by Ernst Junger, so Noturnalux and I are both reading books on World War 1 by German or Austrian soldiers.

I've read a lot of his novels (14)- he's very fun to read. I haven't gotten to City Primeval yet, but will soon. Most of them I read long ago.

I do like it so far, I'm about 40% of the way through it.

I have been curious about Storm for quite a while now, am curious as to what you make of it.
Just started The Line of Beauty by Alan Hollinghurst
I've started La Celestina (or Celestina) by Fernando de Rojas- one of the really old ones- 1499. Fairly short. Kindle as low as $1 in English or Spanish.
On the Heights of Despair by Emil M. Cioran of Romania translated from Romanian. This was his first published book. Like Beckett, he wrote later books in French while living in Paris.
Gabriela, Clove and Cinnamon by Jorge Amado. I've been reading/starting a lot of 1001 list books the past month or so.
