The Sword and Laser discussion

Having only used reddit to look at cat pictures, I'm wondering if there is some space where authors can present their work to the reddit audience. Similar to the way that this forum serves up things to the S&L community.

I've looked at /r/books but it doesn't seem like that kind of thing goes on there. Any body got any info?

I believe the general rule of thumb at Reddit is that you're not going there to promote your OWN work.

Someone else says that it's cool and happens to link to your work. Not the other way around.

If you're doing a freebie or something, r/fantasy would be a good spot. But don't go in there to spam your book.
