Today I got the chance to interview Marisa Oldham. She is the author of
The Falling Series.
& Which is due to come out really soon!

Interview With Marisa

What was the first thing you remember writing?

"When I was about 15 years old I wrote a short story. It was a romance about a girl who fell in love with a guy much older than her."


Who are your inspirations when writing? Authors

"Family? Friends?
I'm inspired by my friends, family, music, and other authors."

What is your favorite genre to write and why?

"I've only written romance/(light) erotica. I love to read suspense and one day may try writing it, but I'm not sure I'd be any good at it."

What are your plans for future books/ series?

"I plan to write at least 3 more books. A book based on Michelle, a character in the Falling series, a story that is inspired by a photo-shoot that I did last year, and a book called You Have Such a Pretty Face."

Do you have a favorite character in your books?

"I love them all and I'm partial to all of them."

Who/ what do you model your characters after?

"Rock stars, models, my family, and my friends."

If you could redo a part in one of your books,
what would it be?

"I would make sure it was edited better. (working on that now)"

How did you come up with your characters?

"I created them when I was a teenager. They have just evolved in my mind since then."

Do you have any new book(s) coming out in the future?

"The Falling of Hope, which is he 3rd and last book in the Falling series. As soon as it's edited it will be released."

Is there someone who helped you with your books?
If so who? And how did they help?

"My sister helps me brainstorm and she also comes up with some killer ideas!"
