Well, you're active and you help out here when you can, Kaitlin. We appreciate it. ^-^
But Cassie, Lauren and I - we'll all be busy with grad school come next month, so we're looking for some added help. XD
Hopefully it'll mean fresh, new ideas for the group. ^-^

Age: Actually, due to concerned parents, I am not aloud to say.
Year in School: I am also not aloud to say this, for it might give headway to my age. :)
How often are you on Goodreads? I am on about every day, or on rare occasions every other day. During school, though, I will be on much less. ^^"
Do you have previous experience in moderating? Yes, actually, I do. I am currently the co-moderator of several other successful groups, and moderator of a few groups that were alive, then were massacred by inactivity. I am mostly moderator in advanced roleplay groups, and I have yet to be a moderator of a discussion group. I think that it would give me experience, and a good time.
Why do you want to be a moderator? As I said previously, I think being moderator would give me good experience, as being moderator in any active group would. I also like seeing things in order, and being the one to help people put it in order. I can be mean and rude if I have to, but most times I am kind, friendly, and understanding. :)
What sort of YA books do you like in particular? I am really interested in romance books, as well as action series. :)
Other info we should know about:
♫I like music, and I am very creative
♫ I am currently trying to write a novel, which I can only dedicate a fraction of my time to.
♫ I am very good at grammar. A 'Grammar Nazi' as some would call it.
♫ I like to edit photos, and I don't have experience with coding, and other stuff on the computer. But, I can mess around and figure it out--or I could always Google it.
OKay. I think that does it. xD
Mod applications are now closed. (Until further notice.) Thanks to all who applied. We'll be getting back to you soon. =D
As of January 12 I'm looking for one or two more moderators! I'm looking for ACTIVE participants and group members, someone who can help me keep the forum clean by moving old threads to the archives, keep the games active, and who will initiate and keep Group Read threads active. I've had a hard time keeping this place running since I've started grad school, so these two moderators would have to take it upon themselves to seriously run this place from time to time, like post Book of the Month nominations when I can't get to it on the first of the month or post the polls on the 15th of the month.
Please consider these conditions seriously before applying, as I want to appoint only those who really think they can help the group prosper.
Thank you!

Thank you!
Applications are again closed. Please keep checking back, as I'll just might need more help in the future! Thank you!
Mod Responsibilities
Including, but not limited to...
1.) Keeping The Forum Clean - Moving expired topics to archives, making sure the games threads are running smoothly, ect.
2.) Must Be Creative - Be able to come up with fun and exciting new games, ideas, and challenges.
3.) Must Be Active - Perferably you would be on at least once a day to check in on the group. We understand sometimes this is impossible (illness, family obligations, ect) but for the most part, be accessable to other mods and members.
4.) Must Be Friendly and Inviting - Be warm and bubbly when new members come in and introduce themselves. You'll be their first impression of the group!
5.) Mediator - Big groups often mean big drama. It'll be your job to try and quell any group disagreements and keep everyone getting along - in the nicest way possible, of course!
6.) Gamers - As a mod, you'll want to keep the games up to date and fun. As in, post in the games that have been dead for a while, as well as posting new questions for the Trivial Pursuit and Hangman threads.
Questions to Ask Yourself Before Applying...
Are you comfortable moderating "big" events for the group, like Read-A-Thons and Scavenger Hunts?
Will you have enough time to really commit to the job or will you be distracted by other groups?
Added Perks!
If you have experience in coding and photoshop, please let us know in your application. We're looking for someone like this!
