Thanks Anna. I was beginning to think I was alone :(
I am absolutely addicted to reading, as anyone can tell from my TBR list. If I only had more time...

mark (mejabbour) | 2 comments Hi, I am Mark. I read and write -- which I've come to understand individuals do for different reasons. I write fiction and non-fiction and read both. I find there is often more truth in fiction and have turned more to that. Choices ... I look for contemporary first novels now, and I look at the author photo to decide. First novels are often written in the 1st person, and the author writes about what they know - which is usually some field (occupation) they are, or have been, involved in. Thus I learn about the world, more than just what I see and hear. Reading expands my world and stimulates my mind. It is research for my own writing.

Jackie | 115 comments Hi, I'm Jackie, a book seller, book reviewer and just general all-around book geek. I read a lot of advance readers copies of books because of my job, and have sworn to review everything I read this year. It keeps me busy!

Guess I should tell you about me. My name is Julie and I am completely addicted to reading and to GoodReads. I read a mix of fiction and non-fiction and the only things I steer clear of are vampire books, romance and sci-fi. I belong to a couple of reading challenge groups on GoodReads, but can't decide if I'll read 50 this year or 75. Probably 50, but you never know.

Elizabeth Wallace (sibes11sbcglobalnet) | 6 comments Hi there, I'm Elizabeth. I'm in school but now it's summer so I'll have plenty of time on my hands...to read every book that suits my fancy! I'm thinking I'll try for a hundred books this year but we'll see. I'm also trying to read my "recommended state reading list" which has been an interesting experience. I love all types of genres, but especially fantasy.

Hi Elizabeth!

I'm so envious of people who have the summer off to read! Good luck with your goal.
