I enjoyed it. It's been a few years, though. I should probably watch it again.

There is something undeniably mysterious about the south, it's at the same time glorious, beautiful, wild, repulsive and disturbing. When we lived there it was such a foreign world for me. I was enthralled and terrified at the same time.

I'll have to get a hold of this movie to see if it explains some of it better for me.
