A Song of Ice and Fire
question
Thoughts on Sansa?

Many people think that Sansa is a relatable character, and she is. Just not to me. Okay guys, people will think I'm lying. But I was never a 'Sansa' I was always an 'Arya'. I was wierd. I resorted to violence a lot. I can horseride, shoot a bow, use a sword and throw knives. I'm not quiet. I do rash things without thinking. I can't be described as meek. If there was something to be said, I'd say it. I am an 'Arya' not a 'Sansa', although I like Sansa a lot. I admire her normality and her strenght. What is the rest of your views on whether you were a Sansa/Arya?

I think Sansa most resembles her own mother, and will have the greatest opportunities to show her strength and her developing cunning. TWoW may hold surprises for everyone with regard to Sansa. Arya's my favorite, of course, but she's the easiest character to enjoy. Sansa requires a lot of thinking and understanding, which makes her probably the Stark family's last great hope.
I started out thinking Sansa was going to be a disposable side-kick for her much better developed sister Arya. But my opinion has changed completely. Although I was rooting for Arya in the beginning, the way her story has developed leaves me completely disinterested - i dont care if she is bumped off or not. But with Sansa there are real possibilities - the possibility of the Stark family rising again, the possibility of the North uniting under her and presenting a real threat - so many options. I think Sansa will be one of the few contenders left standing in the end - and will emerge a winner of sorts - along with her stepbrother Jon.
Cunning? Sansa? Don't make me laugh, she will be brutally innocent until the day she dies. So full of hope and the belief that good, honest, and loyal people will rise. Her "strength" lies in her lady like ways; it will make (and has made) people want to fight for her. She is sweet and beautiful. These things are what a lady should be, and in a world where malice rules, her naivety will be her weapon--her sharp sword that will win her battles.
I love Sansa and I love all of that about her. In this century where "strong" female characters are sought after, Sansa takes me back to the damsel in distress era, and it is so nostalgically refreshing. By doing nothing but being, she will win the Iron Throne. Nothing has arisen in G.R.R.M.'s series to make me think otherwise.
