Escaping Reality discussion

I read Escaping Reality in a day and really enjoyed it, but left with so many questions and wondering who Amy can trust... if anyone.

What do you think?

I fell in love with this book. I'm a huge fan of Lisa Renee Jones I love her writing. I was not expecting that ending, no way. I really thought she could trust Liam but now? Not so much. I was left with a lot of questions too. Amy is one strong girl. I'm rooting for her. Cant wait for Infinite Possibilities...October cant come soon enough!

I agree! I loved this book and I am a huge fan of Lisa Renee Jones as well. The ending was a shocker but I would still like to believe she can trust Liam. Maybe he is just checking up on her to protect her and to find out what it is she is running from? I don't know??? There are still a lot of unanswered questions and I can't wait to find out!!!!

I am kinda hoping the same thing with Liam...

I just finished this book as well and loved it! My first read by this author. I can't wait to find out what's next. Do you know when the next book is coming out?

According to her website, it still shows TBA, but I thought I had read somewhere October (not sure on that though)

i thinkng she should trust liam i dont think hes ones from the past i dont know maybe he just checking up to find out what she is running from and try help her thats what i am hoping for anyway so many questions cant wait for the next book

I think she should trust Liam I do believe he know more than he is letting on about her situation, but I believe he is trying to help in his own mysterious way and knows that Amy would bolt at any sign of trouble and is possibly trying to hide his trying to help because of this. She has to be over paranoid because of the situation, but seeing his actions thus far through the book and how he has treated her from the beginning should give her reason enough to trust him at least enough to question that conversation he was having while they were at dinner.

I trust Liam and want her to be able to trust him to. lots of unanswered questions! This is my first read by this author. Thinking of checking out her other books now too.

Does anyone think her family and his mentor father somehow connected to everything?

I don't think so didn't his mentor father pass away like a year ago in the book?

Big fan of Lisa Renee Jones...I get that Liam gets what he wants...but to much of a coincidence that he was at the airport...she was bumped into first class...hotels across the street from each other...she can't find anyone, or anything with the triangle image on it, that lets her know that all the correspondence is from her handler...so it's safe...I want to see how Jared plays into all this...I believe Liam just played her...master manipulator...because we know he had to know something about her pass...can't wait for book 2....this is why i love this author. Escaping Reality is a five star read...

Amy was looking for a tattoo on the wrist to identify her handler. Maybe Liam is a new handler or something...I don't know, but I hope in the end Liam is a good guy.

I believe Amy can trust Liam. He had to have seen the research she was doing on her computer while she was recovering from the concussion. A man like Liam would seek answers to what was going on with her. My thoughts are that she overheard only part of the conversation with Derek and jumped to the wrong conclusion which is understandable considering that she has been hiding for so long and can truly trust no one. But as she said she is no longer running she is going home, to where it all began, to find the answers that are in her past. I can’t wait to learn those truths and I believe she will find her way back to Liam. Though it wouldn’t surprise me if he finds her before she is ready for him to.

I think Liam is somehow connected to her father and his mysterious death (maybe something to do with him mentor?). Liam is well aware of what she's running from, but trying to get her to trust him and tell him herself. Liams background with history-egyption pyramids- architecture is too coincidental. I dont think he is trying to harm her. In what ever way he is connected to her fathers past- I believe he has been watching her all this time (potentially the one who has been hiding/protecting her)While keeping an eye on her, he has gotten attached. I loved this book and the twist and turns. Can't wait for the next chapter.

I think Liam is just trying to protect her but something is up with Jared as well. I did also wonder if Liam's father had something to do with the fire and he covered it up. Cant wait to find out.

Yes, I think there is something up with Jared for sure and I think that there is some kind of connection with her past and Liam. I can't wait either ...hate waiting!!!!

I agree. I also think there is more to Meg as well.

im hoping for a good out come with Lima. I want to trust him my self but I just dont know yet

I have never had so many questions after reading a book I hope we get a few teaser and please when will the next be released

I also loved this book and the way the characters were brought to light . I was left with so many questions not just about Liam but also Jared and his connection with Amy. Also will she run again and where too? Amy also seems to be remembering more about the trauma and death of her parents and her brother so will she be able to remember enough to put the pieces together about it all? Looking forward to the next in this series.

I am right there with ya! So many questions and speculations. We will all have some fun reading in October.

I would like to know why Amy is so special she has to be in hiding...what's the story...Liam is someone's secret weapon. Jared may just be a coincidence...I don't think anyone planned on him being at the right place at the wrong time...Jared may also be the one sporting the triangle tattoo. Don't like waiting till Oct. but I loved this book.

I thought this book was so awesome. I've reread it like 3 times in the past 2 weeks. I personally like Liam and really wish that Amy had the ability to give him the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately she doesn't have the luxury of trusting like that, but I hope Amy will be able to reconnect with her old friend Chloe, just because that was her only real friend.

Jared strikes me as someone that will be from her past and something may jog her memory on how she knows him. I don't trust Meg and that whole situation with the apartment and the office left me unsettled.

i just read this book and i couldn't put it down until i finished it. i haven't been excited over a book in a while. this is the first book i read by ms. jones. can't wait until book 2 comes out :)

I am so ready for book 2 !

if you loved this book and cant wait for the next like me, check out the inside out trilogy by Lisa Renee Jones. i have just finished book 1 & 2 and have just started the 3rd its should give you your LRJ fix until the release date

I really loved this book. At the end I heard myself say.."Scoot over Amy and I'll wait with you and see what happens" holding my breath. I was critical of her a couple times just before the end for not confiding in him. Now I'm glad she didn't yet.

I really loved this book. I think Jared is a voice from the past. He evokes memories for Amy and just his voice is a trigger. I can't stop thinking which part of her past is real and which part may have be planted as a memory????

Yes I asked her in email. It is early November. I just read all her Inside Out w/Journals Trilogy that go with it...great reads.

I just started them. I'm liking the first book and am interested to see how she twists things.

Yo'll really enjoy them..Make sure you follow the right order. She has it listed on her site. It makes a big difference to the story. Enjoy

i really enjoyed this story and it reminds me why i LOVE LRJ. she's a great author.

this story was great on so many levels, because we get a great leading lady who has a past that wasn't cleared up in book 1. we really know may a handful more of it than we did at the beginning and that's great. we also continue to wonder who's trustworthy and who's not which leads to the great cliffhanger. i can't wait until the next one is out!

Yeah I saw that and tried to find if I could pre-order but it isn't on Amazon yet. I am so glad we finally get Amy out of that darn motel room lol:) I can't wait to see who wants her dead and why? I wonder if Liam is really the money behind the guy that keeps helping her. I know that neighbor is involved some how too. I'm confused!

I'm interested to know what was up with her brother and parents and how Liam ties in.

I was thinking about it and maybe what she over heard was Liam investigating. He knows she is afraid of something and she won't tell him. So he is not telling her. I am going to go back and read exactly what she over heard.

Is everyone ready, Infinite Possibilities is released tomorrow....
