Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

This is my author profile. My name is Mona Hanna (I don't have a Goodreads account any more with that name).

I would like some of my books to be put in a separate author profile with the name "Mona M. Hanna." I effectively want to use a pen name for some of the books, but changing the name to something completely different causes a lot of problems.

But I was hoping my non-fiction books could be listed under "Mona M. Hanna" with one bio, and my fantasy books could be listed under "Mona Hanna" with another bio.

Is this allowed? (please please please)

Please leave the Prentor and High Witch series under "Mona Hanna." Please change the bio to the following:

Mona Hanna is an author of fantasy/romance books. She enjoys writing about love, magic, conflict, trials and the joy of overcoming them. Mona enjoys reading, movies, chocolate, and adores cats. She hopes to release many more fantasy books in the years to come.

We don't separate books by a single author into multiple profiles unless the author has actually published under more than one variation of their name. All those books were published under Mona Hanna, not Mona M. Hanna.

Thank you for letting me know. Could the author bio be changed to the below? I just want to make it clear my fantasy books do not contain Christian themes.

"Mona Hanna is an author of fantasy/romance books and Christian non-fiction. She is the author of the Prentor and High Witch fantasy series. Her fantasy books do not contain Christian themes—she leaves that for the devotional writing. Mona enjoys reading, movies, chocolate, and adores cats. She hopes to release many more books in the years to come."

I don't use Goodreads anymore. I closed my account months ago, but only created the account I'm using now to ask for changes to be made to my books by the Librarian group. I have no desire at all to use Goodreads, but want to make sure my books and author profile are listed correctly. If I claim my author profile people I'm back to using the site and I have no desire to do so.

I'd appreciate it if someone could make the change to my bio. Thanks.

Bio changed.

From our point of view the books and author profile name ARE correct. As you know, we list books under the names they were published under.

There is also the point that since the author profile has not been claimed we don't know that these requests are coming from the author herself.
