Emma What do you think of this series?

Carley | 5 comments I absolutely love the Cinder series. I think the futuristic twist on an old fairy tale is clever especially because it was written exremely well. The author slips little tidbits of the original cinderella and little red riding hood stories in such a subtle way that it adds to the story well tha doesn't hinder the books' creativity. I also like how different the dystopian aspect of the series is from the others out there like "the hunger games" "divergent" or "the host". I still felt the dystopia ideal, yet the author created a new world instead of just a desolate one. It's also very fast-paced so time isnt wasted by taking up multiple chapters to explain a single idea. yet it is paced well enough to get a wonderful description of the scene, characters and plot. it is full of action and plot twists, yet not overly shallow. I like how there is some romance but it's not overbearing and doesn't engulf the whole story. I also like how different the first two books are but how well they intertwine to keep up the momentum if the original story. I like how each individual book brings in a new charactor based on a fairytale too. the first book is cinderella, the second is little red riding hood, the third is supposed to be rapunzell, and the fourth about snow white. its interesting how the author incorporates new main characters. in each book, yet doesnt hinder the leading role of Cinder. I recommend this book all the time!

Emma I agree about bringing in the new characters. I'm really excited to meet Cress!

Emma Well, I mean really meeting, because she will be there the whole book this time.

I think he will get Cress, judging from the teaser chapter thing of Cress.

Emma This is chapter 1 of Cress: http://www.scribd.com/doc/149892070/C...

And here is the cover reveal/Q&A with the author/excerpt: http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/bo...

Emma You're welcome. :)
I know! I can't wait!!! There's really nothing like the Cinder series.

Michelle (misah) | 1 comments Thankks for the Cover reveal-article. I am so excited, that Jacin, from Book 1 will appear again. It's so great to find clues for "Cress" in "Cinder" and "Scarlet"

Zoë (zozoaltizer) Why can't Cress come out already?! Anyhoo, I'd like to say one word-
WOLF.

Shannon O-G | 2 comments I loved this series, so far. It was wonderfully imaginative but gave us a baseline in relating to it, a new twist on Cinderella, Red Riding Hood and soon Rupunzel. And the scene setting by the author is so vivid, I had a clear picture in my head the whole time of each character and the places they went. I think this is the best series out there in the dystopian novel set. There, I said it, better than the Hunger Games, better than Divergent. I am a professor of science and technology and I tell my avid readers in my class to read this series.

Shannon O-G | 2 comments So far cress is really good. I love this series, probably my favorite to come out since Harry Potter. Vivid imagery and a really inventive premise. I just retread the first two books and am onto the third

I loved The Lunar Chronicles! They are definitely some of my many favorites and ones I recommend to everybody!! I love the absence of love triangles(even though they are exiting) but still having major ships and my main OTP being within the series(wolflet!!!!). The science fictional twist to classic fairy tales is incredible and makes the slightly boring absolutely, incredibly exiting!!

Aliyaa Pathan I LOVE this series, it is absolutely enchanting! The whole idea of a futuristic fairy tale retelling is creative and clever. Not to mention, the story itself is gripping, funny, and beautifully written. The characters are all so lovable, and their banter is hilarious, and all the ships are so cute!
This is a series that will forever remain close to my heart as one of my favorites! Read it, definitely, if you haven't.
