Sarah | 66 comments It's been a while that I've read this book, but I've been trying to figure it out forever.

What I remember:
The book started out with a woman who was visiting a grave site of someone she once knew. She then flashes back to her past and college. She was struggling to get enough money to go to the college she wanted to go to. She was lucky enough and somehow got the money (I don't remember how) and she was accepted to that school. She ends up leaving for college and meets three or four girls and becomes best friends with them and they all decide to rent an apartment and live together. The rest of the book is a bit blurry to me, but I do remember that they somehow end up starting a type of dance club together and they fight over the excessive drinking and boys that one of the girls brings over. As the book progresses, the girls get older and graduate college (I believe)and remain friends. The main character (the one from the beginning) is on her way to meet her college friends when she gets stopped by a fatal accident. She looks out her window and sees the car that appears to be owned by one of her friends she is heading to meet. The end of the book reveals that, yes, it was that woman's car and she died in the accident. The end of the book is back in the present (Which I think has a date of 2008, but don't hold me to that) and the woman talks about how she misses her friend, but she knows she's always around.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? So far, nothing as shown up and it drives me crazy that I can't remember the title. *Sigh*

And if you don't know the author and/or title, do you have any suggestions as to how I can figure it out. I'd appreciate any help. (:
