Okay, I'm trying to understand this. I'm listening to the audiobook instead of reading it. Not sure if that was a good idea. I had to listen to Chapter 1 twice to understand the situation. Is the story about 2 grown girls living at home. One of them comes from a family of 4 daughters. And the other, different family, was in the car accident. Are they that strikingly similar to each other that their families didn't recognize them? Who did they think they buried @ the funeral; or did they say?

Janette Mapes | 84 comments They were teens belonging to the same church youth group. There was an accident coming home from camp I believe. At the time whoever survived was not recognizable (bruising, swelling, etc) and they thought she was one girl & in fact they didn't know that she was the other girl for like weeks. The one family had already buried who they thought was their daughter when they found out that it was actually their daughter who had survived. This is a true story, it did happen.
