Revenge of the Witch question

This is ridiculous! I hadn't heard of it but I wouldn't watch it, I doubt. The kid looks like he's thirty! And it doesn't even look intriguing...whether or not you've read the book. This is a saddening development.....;(

I can't say that I'm 100% sure, but I can say I'm 99.9% sure because of three things I saw in the trailer one: seventh son of seventh a son two: master apprentice relation three: Master tells apprentice to kill witches and apprentice loves witch. I'm not using names because I'm not sure if the names are the same. just remembered the trailer said "acclaimed series" that's why I think its the movie but you know I could be wrong and that .1 could mean its another movie XD

So I checked the http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1121096/ page and yes, Joseph Delaney is credited as the writer (of the book) so this movie is based on the book.

I don't know I'm going to feel about this they better not mess this up or I'm gonna be mad

I really want to see it. I think it won't be bad at all, even if it doesn't strictly follow the plot line. I love this series, but even on its own the movie looks good.

Is it really the Last Apprentice? In the preview it said Seventh Son. I'm confused.
But it looks like a really good movie even if it doesn't follow the book! I really want to see it.

I've seen it... I wish I haven't it seems to not follow the plot completely....
